The warm air hit me in the face as I stepped off the plane.

"I can't believe your parents actually sent you here, of all the schools they could send you too they send you to one in an interlay different country." My best friend Bethany or Beth said to me as we walked through the airport to collect our luggage

"Yeah, I know I'm so excited" I replied and I grabbed my suitcase and walked through the terminal and towards the exit.

"Lauren!" I heard my parents shout after me

I turned around to look at them,

"Were on the next flight out Bethany," They said and she looked at me and said

"I can't believe your leaving me. I hate you," She said with tears rolling down here cheeks

I wrapped her in my arms and me, my mum and dad, Beth, and my older brother left the airport to go to my new school in the one and only France.

We all piled into the car and the driver shoved my luggage into the boot of the car,

"Now Lauren. Your father and I expect you to be on your best behavior at this new school."

My mother said and Bethany sat rubbing her eyes at the new tears forming in her eyes. My brother sat expressionless facing me. We were close Matty and I and I knew we'd miss each other, ever since our other brother, Matty's twin, had died we'd been extremely close. Just thinking about the next couple of years without Beth and Matty made my eyes water. I was determined not to cry. I am not going to cry. Not going to cry. A tear escaped my eye and I swiped at it angrily. So much for not crying. An hour later the car was pulling up outside the old castle like building and Beth, Matty and I all stepped out of the Black limousine that had drove us there. We stood there staring in shock.

"Have you sent me to a convent by accident or something?" I asked glaring at my mum and dad

"Don't be stupid." My father said

There was a quiet pause as we all stood outside my new school staring. The driver pulled my suitcase out of the boot and pulled it up the graveled path to the stairs where he turned around and walked back towards us.

"Mr and Mrs Parker, I'm afraid to say this but we have to go your flight back to London leave's in an hour." The driver said

"Yes. Yes." My mother said "Now. Lauren, behave, I don't want you getting into any trouble."

I nodded my head even though I already knew that was a promise I was never going to keep. Trouble is attracted to me, I'm like a magnet, I can not repel trouble.

"Well I'll see you in the christmas holidays?" She said

"Yeah. I guess." If your in the country that is, I added silently to myself

"Bye honey." She said and climbed into the car,

My dad smiled and kissed my cheek and followed after her. I turned towards my brother and my best friend and smiled. Another tear escaped my eye and I could see Beth trying her hardest not to cry, but failed as I heard her sob and she ran at me and wrapped me in her arms.

"Promise you'll email?" She said

I nodded and swiped more tears out of my eyes. She got into the car rubbing her eyes causing her eyes to look like a panda as the remainder of her mascara and eyeliner was rubbed across her face. I looked at my brother and tried to hold back the sobs. I could tell he was trying not to cringe as I buried my head in his chest. He hated it when I cried and lately all I ever did was cry. Ever since Bret had died in that accident,
