Pound, Pound, Pound, that's all she could feel as she turned over in her bed; the pounding of her head.

The girl groggily sat up, looking around her room. It was a cold saturday in October, and as the early morning light filtered in through her window sill she could see all around her room. she laid her back against her pastel pink walls, squinting to get a good look at the many drawings she had hanging around. magazine cut outs of weird phrases and photos littered the room,  and a few posters could be seen here and there. It was 7 am, and she had to get ready for school, headache or not.

She started changing into an olive green sweater and jeans, pulling her hair into a sloppy braid and fixing her glasses. She was ready for breakfast.  The girl opened her door hesitantly, taking step into the dark hallway and made her way towards the stairs.

"Eliza!!"

Eliza fumbled, missing the first step of the stairs and falling down, tumbling down the stairwell to the first floor.  "Oh my god!! I'm so sorry, are you ok?!"  gasped her mom, quickly reaching over to the fallen girl and pulling her up. "I'm fine.. Just have a headache, tis all.." "Well.. maybe some toast will help with that" Eliza's mom smiled.
