It was a dark and stormy night in the barn, there were planes flying overhead, Uncle Mac sighed, "I guess their still looking for scavengers."
It has been 15 years since the world lost WW2, Yes WW2 at least that's what thats what Germans called it in the news. But instead of the world against the world, it was more like Germany against the world. Even Japan and Italy decided to rebel against Germany thinking they had too much power. Team up with the rest of the world they combined forces, but eventually fell to the hands of Germany. Now Germany has tightened their security and is trusting nobody.
"Haven't they given up yet, they'll never find the rebellion, sometimes we can't even find them." Uncle Mac replied
"I guess after the WW2 when Japan and Italy fell they haven't trusted anyone except their own ever since. "All right that's enough talk for tonight, we got to get up bright and early tomorrow to help the rebellion." "Yeah okay." as James sighed.
Later that night at around 3AM in the morning, James woke up to a strange light, he saw a flashlight coming towards the farm, he had to go and wake up Uncle Mac, but at the same time he was curious as to why there was something so close to the farm. Why would someone come at night, was it a raid on the barn to find information about the Alliance, or was it just a random lost bypasser asking for directions,
"There was only one way to find out." James said out loud no one in particular. So James decided to take a risk and see what the person wanted.
In the clusters of wheat, Jackie was lost, he had no idea where he was or what was happening, all he remember is that he was running away from his step mother and father
I mean he loved his father, but he hated his step mother, she had it out for him that women, she would always try to embarrass him in public by telling everybody that he would always cry about every little thing,and get the guards to make sure he does his homework or they beat him up, he wanted to run away with his friend Richard because he was abused at home as well, but Richard decided that he was happy with his family even though he's not.
But all that Jackie wanted was to have some alone times, but then he ended up getting lost and now this happened now all he has is a flashlight and a possible German barn to hide in.
James was scared, he didn't know what was out there, It could be a spy, soldier or a bypasser. He thought to himself remember all the training you did with Uncle Mac, remember why you joined the Alliance, your not a coward your a hero,
Jackie saw someone coming, he saw a figure of a kid, his first thought was danger run away, but he didn't know where, so he decided to meet the kid and take a risk. He wanted to know if he was one of his kind, as the adults referred to, or if he was an Alliance.
