Nami was a rather normal girl.
She looked normal, had decent grades and - besides of getting into fights with teachers every now and then - she wasn't expecially noticeable in class.
Well, she actually was about to fail art class, but it seemed too abstract and far away for her to care.Until a certain someone joined her class.
Robin.
That bitch.
Nami didn't exactly know why she hated her like that, maybe because she was so perfect.
In every way.
She was pretty, good in every class she attempted, always friendly and all of the teachers loved her.
Literally loved her.
Her English and her Biology teacher had hit on her before.
And being the friendly girl she was, she turned them down in such a nice way that they still liked her afterwards, still gave her good grades. It was rather unfair.
Since Nami was literally the only student close to failing art class and Robin was the best one, they got paired up.
It was a quite unspecific topic, they actually had to choose the topic for themselves and then take pictures that represented it.Some sort of collage.
Very vague.|...|
"Don't look at me like that!",
Robin hissed, glaring at Nami who acted all innocent and defensive.
"What the fuck are you talking about?!"
"Pff, I know you don't like me, but I didn't choose to be in a group with you, you know? So we gotta work together here, I wanna keep my A."
Nami shook her head, stunned by the harsh words.
"Calm your tits, Lady! I don't wanna fail class, okay? First of all, we need a topic and since you're the brain, you should choose one."
Robin shrugged.
"If you insist..."
Not like she would have let Nami choose anyway.
"Since I'm a hopeless romantic, I would've chosen 'love'. I got some nice ideas for it."
She grinned to herself.
The perfect topic to piss Nami off.
She looked so cute when she was angry."Are you fucking kidding me?! Come on! You-"
Robin cut the angry girl off.
"Okay, okay, at least 'flowers' or 'nature' or something! Pretty please?"
The other female grimaced and rolled her eyes in the most annoyed way possible.
"You wanted me to choose, so I did. Deal with it!"
The orange haired girl sighed in defeat.
"Okay, let's go! You know that park nearby? It'd be a great location for some pictures."
Robin took Nami's hand in her own and dragged her outside. They had two hours to get some ideas and start with some pictures.
|...|
"So you wanna do that cliché 'all pink and cute' shit?"
Nami had thought Robin was a bit more clever than that.
"No, silly, that'd be crazy boring! I wanna show nature in places where it shouldn't be. The sun is shining, it's hella warm, so everything's blooming. The flowers coming out of the asphalt, the bird digging in a trash can, stuff like that."
That sounded more like Robin.
"Go location scouting and I'll start taking pictures."
Robin sent Nami off with a smirk.
Literally the first thing Nami found was a bouquet laying on the ground, a few flowers had been stepped on and some were already dried out.
Well if that wasn't just what she had been searching for.
After a while, the heat really got to her and Nami sat on a bench nearby, enjoying the sun on her face and the sweet scent of all the flowers in the park.
"Tired already?"
A soft voice dragged her out of her sleepiness and back into the normal world.
"N-no... Well, yes. I don't get how all these flowers are able to survive in this hot weather."
Robin sighed and flopped down on the bench as well. "I know, right?! It's actually not that warm at all, you know... But wearing all black doesn't help." She looked at both her own and Nami's dark clothes and grinned widely.
"Let's take some more pics, we only have half an hour left anyway."
The other girl nodded as she got up, stretching herself out and stiffling a yawn.
She reached for Robin's hand to help her up and the black haired girl gladly took it.
Looks like Nami's soft side is showing a little, how cute!
"Have you seen the cherry blossoms already? Come on, I'll show you."
Robin took the lead again as Nami shook her head no.
|...|
"Woooow, it's beautiful!"
How sweet Nami, the always pissed off Nami, could secretly be.
"I know, isn't it."
Between big trees, covered in the most beautiful shades of pink, the orange haired girl danced around in the falling petals and smiled happily.
The sun was shining through the leaves and branches of the trees, creating beautiful shapes on the girls bodies."I love it!",
Nami cheered, her eyes sparkling with excitement and joy, making her look even more beautiful than usually.
She took a deep breath through her nose, once again relishing the scent of all the spring flowers, causing Robin to giggle to herself.
This really was a completely new side of Nami and Robin enjoyed eliciting it out of her.
Still smiling widely, she hugged her from behind, making her squeal and giggle in surprise.
The black haired girl handed Nami the camera and she immediately started taking pictures, not recognising the ones Robin had already taken of her.
Ughhh, she really didn't seem to get it at all...
Robin sighed hopelessly as her fingers brushed over the laptop screen on which a picture of Nami was showing.
And she had thought she was making it pretty obvious...
Well, at least Nami didn't seem to get repulsed by her, so that was something positive, right?
How on earth could she have fallen for this girl?!"Did you print some of those pictures out already?",
Nami asked, resting her head on Robin's shoulder and looking at the Computer screen as well.
Robin was trying her best not to burst into hysterical and unbelieving laughter. She had managed to click away from the pictures of Nami just in time, one second later and she would've been in trouble.
The orange haired girl didn't give Robin a chance to answer and just spoke again.
"Oh my gosh, your hair smells so lovely!"
Does Nami even notice how she's basically flirting with me?! Probably not.
This whole thing was one weird working-together and it's not getting any better...
Yay, first chapter! It's not gonna be a long story, so be prepared for one more chapter, I guess. I hope you like it anyway ^^
