Chapter 1

"Ew, gross! Get away from me"

"You're not wanted here, nerd!"

"Ugh, look. It's the adopted freak! Your parents don't love you. Did you know that, Kirsty?"

Threats and comments were spat at me as soon as I walked into the damned school hall. Many didn't say anything, they either pushed me or gossiped and whispered. Such ignorant and selfish teenagers they were. My feelings boiled up, anger grew closer to my actions. I clenched my fist, with the my hand holding my black backpack.

"You AIMLESS freaks! Leave me the f*ck alone!" I snapped, as gasps spread across the crowd like a disease. Except one of them just nodded.

"Nice one." the guy whispered. Everyone stared at me, giving my eyes death glares and dirty looks. It's been a long time since I fought back from the hatred comments that was shot at me, and now I regret it. Paranoid is what my nerves were feeling. I never meant to say it out loud. Footsteps could be heard. It was noticeable that it was heels that the person was wearing. The footsteps edged closer to me from behind.

"Ah sh*t" I thought. I slowly turned around to see who it was. "Not surprised to be honest, I knew it would be her." My conscience said. I drew a scared face to hide my anger. A lump grew in my throat.

"Well, well, well. Look at what the cat dragged in...Attention of course! " sneered the blonde freak - who stood before me with a malicious grin on her face. Leona, Leona Morfit. My number one bully. She had smooth flawless skin, neatly manicured nails and bright blue eyes. Numbers of people in Rosefield High would say she's God's angel, when I look at her; all my eyes could see is a black-hole with no feelings or empathic behaviour.
I gradually stepped back. Leona was about to hit me with her wrecking ball, until someone slapped her with a book. It was that guy again. Leona gasped, no-one has ever hit her before, I'm glad that she got slapped

"RUN!" he said immediately as he grabbed my hand and ran.
