Cora stared in shock at the name. She never believed she would see again. She had to answer.

She slid into the unlocked broom closet. Then answered the call. She couldn't quite bring herself to say hello.

"Hello?" questioned the all too familiar voice.

"Caleb?" she pushed out.

"Just let me explain." he said.

she didn't know how to respond.

"I'm by our old spot." he said. "Meet me here after school."

The words tugged at her heart as the phone line went dead. She sat silently just listening to the electronic hum, trying not to cry.

Suddenly the door opened revealing Tyler.

"What happened?"he asked shutting the door and hugging her.

She pulled away and responded as always "I'm fine." she slid out of the door before she broke down. Making it to class a minute or two late. Luckily it was just a sub.

The class continued normally. Except Cora wasn't paying attention to the sub, the board, or even her notes. Her attention was locked on the clock.

She knew it was wrong to see him. He ruined so many things, but she needed to know he was okay. To hear his breathing.

The bell rang ending her thought. It was no longer a decision.

She rushed out the doors and into her car driving to the tree.

This instantly got Lydia's attention who was sitting by a friend's car after skipping class. she got in her car and followed Cora's Grand Prix.

Lydia watched Cora park. She stealthily parked a block away. Thay way she can see them without Cora seeing her.

Behind an antiquated oak tree she saw him. Her breathe sucked in so hard that she could've inhaled the dash board.

Her heart dropped as Cora ran up and had the nerve to hug the bastard. If it wasn't Cora out there she wouldn't have even ever looked at him again.

Lydia pushed open the door to her black Monte Carlo. Her heels clacked on the pavement.

The second she approached them Caleb took a step back from Cora.

"Ly-" Cora started but got interrupted by Lydia.

"I see you haven't quite learned how to conceal." she gestures to his slightly red nose with a smirk.

"And I see your boobs haven't quite found their place in your shirt." he replied almost instantly with an identical smirk to me.

"Okay enough!" Cora snaps. "How did you know I came here." She said much calmer.

"I'll ask the questions!" Lydia sassed "What the hell are you doing here Caleb?"

He paused then looked at her sadly and replied "I need my family back." Cora reached out to touch his arm, but Lydia stepped in from stopping the contact.

"You need to leave." she said sternly.

"I'm still me, I'm still the same Caleb." he said with puppy dog eyes.

"No." she replied "Your'e a murderer." ending the conversation and leading to Cora to her car and leaving in her own Monte Carlo.
