"You're going to marry her?"

I turned around, finding Luce wearing her flower crown and she also had a bouquet of the flowers she had picked yesterday in her hands.
She looked like she was gonna get married with such things.

I had no idea if it was her question or how she looked like my bride that made me speechless.
I couldn't find my words.

Her eyes were starting to get clouded with tears and she dropped the white flowers on the ground, she slowly stepped back while still making eye contact with me.

There was silence.

I couldn't hear anything.

All I could see was that she was mouthing something...

You promised?

What does she mean?

Oh no.

I ran towards her, but she backed away and in unison she ran off.

I did promise and I was gonna keep it, but...

.

.

.

"NATSU DRAGNEEL. COME IN HERE."

I heard my father call.

I opened the door to find Igneel and Lisanna both sitting on his desk.

"What's going on?"

"Lisanna told me the talk you had with her. Since you did such thing ... I believe you need punishment, but you also have to spend some time with your fiancée. So I decided something."

I scoffed. "Isn't hanging out with her enough punishment?"

"NATSU DRAGNEEL. MANNERS. I have decided that we are going to destroy the garden and place something Lisanna desires instead because she is allergic."

My eyes grew wide.

"What? What? Why? Mother grew those!"

"Yes, I remember quite good, but those plants take up to much space--"

"Space? Father, we are rich. Can't you just place the thing she wants somewhere else?"

"Natsu, I have already made a decision."

"Then change your mind."

He laughed while patting Lisanna's back as she gave me a wink with a smirk.

"I-I-I-I."

"Now you children go have some fun while I order some workers to start digging up that junkyard."

My blood boiled. What about mother or Luce? What about them?

I felt a tear slid down my eye.

"Oh! Come on, Natsu~" She purred,
"Don't be like that. I think we should go on a date. Maybe we could have it on whatever I decide to make that place."

I growled and pushed her away. Running to the only place I could escape, but soon it wouldn't be my teleportation anymore.

"Luce! Luce! Luce! Please, I really need to see you at least one last time!"

"L-Last time?" She whimpered.

"This place is going to be destroyed soon," My voice cracked and now droplets were coming from my eyes all the way down my chin.

I felt a poke on my shoulder and I found Lucy with her arms opened signaling me to give her a hug.
I did as I was told. Squishing the hell out of her poor body.

"I-I'm so sorry, Luce. I couldn't do anything about it.
I had no say in the discussion."

"It's okay. Just promise me that when this garden is destroyed ... that you will one day grow a garden of your own, okay?" She was now sobbing on my shoulder.

"I already told you that I keep my promises," I chuckled.

"Yeah..."
