Chapter 1

*Kelley's pov*

It was the day of September 2nd, at 9:59 pm. My family and I were riding down an old and dark back road in my mom's car, having fun and joking around. Oh wait, I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Kelley and I am 19 years old. I have long brown hair, brown eyes, and I wear glasses. Anywho, back to the story.

"You have cat to be kitten me right now. That was the worst pun ever!!" I said laughing. We were having a pun war and I was winning, I think.

"Your puns are sooo not punny at all! I donut see why you are laughing!!" My sister exclaims from beside me, what is with all the negative comments towards my puns?! They are clawsome!!

While we were talking, we didn't see the man driving on the opposite side coming at us at full speed, but who would? Next thing I know, I hear screams and a loud bang, and then I see black. And that is when I realized, I just got in a crash because of a drunk driver.... and 3 hours before my 20th birthday.
