By definition, a Submissive is someone ready to conform to the authority or will of others. Meekly obedient or passive.
This is a completely true statement.
Well, most of the time. There are many different kinds of subs. It all depends on your personality. Personally, I'm a very aquiscent Submissive. Most of the time. Sometimes I can be a little bratty. Sometimes I fall into a lower role as a pet. But most of the time I know my place and know my rules. Now, lets move onto to Being a submissive. What it means, why, and how.
Being a Submissive is not easy. Too many people take being Submissive as something that is as easy as bending over a bed when told to. But that, is just submitting. Submitting to someone every now and then Sexually is different than Being a submissive. Living the lifestyle.. Being someone's property, belonging to someone and living for more than yourself. That is being a submissive. When you belong to someone, their word is your life. If they say sit then for that moment, that is all you do. That is all you think about. Being a submissive means always striving for a nichè above perfection in Every little thing that you do. Whether it be something as simple as wiping off the table after a meal, or cleaning the entire house for guests to come over.
With that said, does this mean that Submissives have to be perfect? No. There is always room to improve. When you are in this kind of relationship the only person who can tell you if they think you are perfect, or do things perfect is whomever you belong to. Being a true, down to the bone, born with Instincts as such, Submissive; Means that when you find the right person to take the role as Master/Mistress you give up your life to them. Everything and all of you become theirs. But, you gain this new beautiful life that is absolutely over-brewing with fulfillment, love, and punishment. Learning and growing at the hands of someone who puts your interests and needs to heart. Pleasing them in what you do and how well you can obey the smallest commands. Showing love and trust in ways that normals words couldn't even Begin to touch. That is the satisfaction and life of a Submissive. No it is not easy. It does hurt. It is painful. But the most painful times are when you've disappointed the person you live for. That hurts worse than any punishment ever will. The sting of a whip will go away, but if you've done something atrocious, and that punishment doesn't resolve things then.. That is what hurts the most. This lifestyle isn't for the faint of heart. It isn't for people who are just looking to beat someone. It isn't for someone who cannot clearly define the, albeit gaunt, but noticeable line between BDSM and abuse after being taught. Don't so this for the sake of others. Do this for you.
