I stood on a pure white beach made of small grains of marble. As I looked out away from the Island I saw a thick foggy wall about ten miles out seemingly floating over a blue green ocean. As I turned away from the opposing wall I took a deep breath and look at the Island. It was almost completely white. The view contained white pebbles outside the castle on the ground with deep green vegetation sprinkled about. Behind the castle was a white marble cliff that stretched up much higher than the tallest tower, but it was the castle that took my breath away it looked like a pure white marble version of the 'Disney Castle'. The castle looked as though it had been chipped and sculpted away from the mountain. From the side of the castle you could see that some of the castle itself was inside the cliff. I was the lone guard of this castle and its inhabitants.
A couple years ago I found this Island while trying to escape my attackers for I had upset them by attacking their country. 'I had the powers that Lusam has in book 3, able to destroy ships against other magi as if its nothing.' When I made a break in the fog. I was tired and on the verge of collapse. I made it to the Island and the last thing I saw was the most beautiful pair of brown eyes. When I woke up I was in a bed fit for a king. Feeling my body for the cuts that I had before losing conscience I found none. Looking around for the for the owner of the eyes I last saw I didn't find her nor anyone else in the room with me. I slipped out of bed and the room in search for the one who had those eyes.
I ended up finding that girl who turned out to be the princess of the Island and we quickly fell in love. I would have left this Island quickly, but I stayed because I couldn't bare leaving her behind so I took up the task of guarding this castle and her.
It was during my guard that I saw the ships I new would still be looking for me come through the fog wall. The biggest of the wooden ships sent a crew over to me and demanded "If you give us your princess we shall leave with no blood shed."
I would have attack them but there were many ships with even more magi on them. Knowing the only smart thing to do was to hand over the princess. My princess. I brought the information to the Queen and being a good Queen to her subjects she decided to hand over her daughter.
I took her out a separate away from the invaders. I had my two most trusted colleges take her away. As they started to sail away from here somewhere safe I stopped the boat to take one last look at her.
She still had those beautiful brown eyes. She had raven hair with very fair skin. With her engrained in my mind for eternity I told her "I will never stop looking for her in the next world if I don't make it and unlike in the past I will never leave your side no matter what happened." As she sailed away we gazed at each other until she went through the fog.
