My mother stands at the door holding my bag out to me.
"You ready to begin?"
I didn't know how to answer. I still had so many questions, like where to begin, will it be easy, are the legends even true? I just have this feeling that I have to go west. I walk over a put the bag on my back.
"I'm ready"
I say as I give my mom a hug, which nay be the last I ever give.her.
"Please be careful, try to come home as soon as you can. I love you"
She says with tears in her eyes. I wish I could have told her everything would be alright, but I couldn't because I had no idea what I would encounter on my journey. I hold my necklace and just pray that he's looking for me too.
