"So much for the wrong wire, hey, Agent Hanna?" Janvier smirked, looking around to see the building completely in tact.
"Oh no. That's not the wire that I was talking about." Sam replied, smiling uo at his partner.
"You ready, G?" He asked.
Callen nodded, " as ready as I'll ever be. God I hope you know what you're doing Sam."
Janvier frowned amusingly, "good luck trying. You'll never disable that. My bomb making skills are beyond astounding."
Sam grinned evily, "who said I was going to disable it?"
Janvier looked confused.
Less than five seconds later, Kensi and Deeks were at the top of the tunnel, aiming their guns below, "stop right there, and piut your hands behind your back." Deeks yelled.
Janvier looked up, "Detective. Nice to finally see you again."
Kensi smirked, "never knew you swung that way, Janvier. Put your hands behind your back, or I shoot."
"You wouldn't dare when there is a bomb set to detonate only feet away from me. Oh and did you forget about your dear friend, Agent Callen, who is currently keeping the pressure pad warm?" Janvier teased.
"Sam? We good to go?" Kensi asked.
Sam nodded, "I sure as hell hope so."
"How much longer do we have, Sam?" Callen asked.
Sam looked to the timer on the pressure mat, "exactly two minutes. We have to go now, G."
Janvier let out a laugh, "looks like it's my time to leave. Enjoy hell, Agent Callen. You too, Agent Hanna. Well of course, you are free to join me up the top where your friends will attempt to arrest me. My senses however, tell me you are too loyal for that."
Janvier started to climb the ladder, pulling out his phone from his pocket as he did so, "just in case I need to speed this whole shazam up. You know, two minutes is a long time."
Janvier then went to push a button on his phone as he got out of the blast sight, stepping into the sight of Kensi. Bad mistake, bud.
Kensi and Deeks took turns at shooting him, to stop his finger from pushing down on that button.
"One minute, G. We need to go now. Like right now. You ready? I hope you worked out this morning." Sam stated.
Callen nodded, "On three. One....Two......Three!" He yelled, as Sam helped pull him to his feet, and they both bolted to the other end of the tunnel as quick as they could, climbing the ladder and using Deeks' arm as assistance.
They had only just made it out of the tunnel, still running far away, as they watched the tunnel collapse with a bang.
"Well, at least Janvier is no longer able to have a hold over you." Deeks spoke, trying his hardest to lighten the mood.
Callen chuckled, bending down to catch his breath, wincing in pain discretely.
"G, you good?" Sam worried.
Callen nodded, standing up, "yeah, I'm fine. Just some bruised ribs. Nothing to be alarmed about."
Sam nodded, "we should get back to MTAC. The director is going to want a full report."
"And my guesses are, Callen has a specific Intelligence Analyst that would be very eager to see him alive and well." Deeks teased.
Sam and Kensi chuckled, while Callen was a little less enthused, "shut up, Deeks."
