Today, today is my first day at a new high school. New state new start. I didn't know anyone yet, but it's a big school I will probably just go in and not really be noticed. I heard mum calling out to me. So I grabbed my bag fixed my hair and went to the car, I sat in the front seat and put my seatbelt on. I looked over my mum who was this the drivers seat, "ready?" She asked "yeah" I said with confidence. "Okay, lets go then." She responded, I relaxed into my seat, starring out the window it was fall the leaves were changing , there was light fog in the air and the grass was sort of wet. Then there was kids, a lot of kids and a huge building, the car came to a stop I turned to my mum, she looked at me and smiled "you have to walk home tonight, your remember the way right?" She said "yes" I responded she sighed grabbed my face and kissed me on the cheek. I took off my seatbelt grabbed my bag and got out of the car. Right then it hit me, I have no friends here I don't know anything, it's all new. I took a deep breath and set out for my first day at a new life.
