The Girl

I woke up with a chill going down my spine. I looked around wondering where i was, the atmosphere was cold and the air was very thin. I tried to breathe but it was to hard to. I heard a voice echoing in the distance i could barely make it out soon it became louder and i heard the voice clearly. "Mina! Minaaaaa! Wake up were gonna be late!" I open my eyes and realize that i was sleeping. Naomi hopped up onto my bed and started licking my face. Naomi is my german Shepard and shes always excited to see me. "Ok, ok im up!" i laughed as naomi hoped down. I got up and got dressed, i wore some light blue ripped jeans, my soft and totally comfy tee shirt with an owl on the front. I closed my closet which on the other side was a mirror, i looked at my style and smiled at my shirt draped over my jeans. I looked at my hair and brushed it down, my hair moved easily and was already very silky. I looked out my door to see that my sis left it open and sigh a little. "You forgot to close the door!" i yell to her. I fixed my bangs and put up my hair in a pony tail. Even when i put my hair up it still reaches all the way down my back. I put a pink and white bow in the back of my hair. "Ok now for makeup." i reach for my lotion and rub just a little into my face and smooth it down, i look at my face in the mirror and see no acne or anything, i smile and put on some mascara, lip gloss and perfume. I look at my bag by the door and walk over to grab it. "Minaaaaaaaa come onnnn!" my sister yelled "Im coming Hina! Just wait!" i yell at her. I take my phone off my desk and run downstairs quickly. I grab a piece of toast before running out the door with Hina. we get onto the bus and sit in our regular seat. My hair still silky and soft like nothing ever happened to it. I put my bag on my lap and pull out my phone and listened to some music. Once we got to the school all of us got off the bus, me and hina were last. We hop down onto the sidewalk, i smiled towards hina, "Race you to the doors!" i take off and run quickly, my hair flowing through the wind, i laugh as i hear hina, " HEY! Wait up!" she yells running toward me. I pass by all the kids and run into the school, a lot of the students look at me in awe, "Minaaa!! Wait up!!" she yells. I run through the doors and skid to a halt then stand straight and laugh at hina still running toward me. I smile a little as she gets through the doors. "I win." i smirk a little. "Aww." she breathes quickly then stands up. "Haha. great way to start off a new school year" i laugh a little. Once everyone gets into the school we wait in our classes. Me and hina have the same classes together, well some. I have chorus and hina has art. In the afternoon the bell rings and we go to our classes. I go to chorus and hina goes to art. I get to the door of the chorus room and sigh quietly, i look into the room and see no one here yet. I start walking in slowly watching where i step."helloooo?" i say wondering if there was a teacher around. I get no answer and look around the giant room. My eyes widen in joy as i see i grand piano in front of the room. Everything in the room shined as the chorus room was newly added to the school. I walk in looking to see if anyone else was around and saw no one. I walked to the piano and started to play a tune. My fingers glided gently over the keys as i started to play a graceful song. I closed my eyes forgetting that i had class and kept playing. I started to sing along to the rhythm, my voice catching into the walls and echoing around the room. I soon stopped and sighed a little. "wow. You have a really beautiful voice." looked over and saw a boy, he had short brown hair, sea blue eyes, tan skin and short cute bangs. I almost fall hearing his voice and blush a little. "Huh? What? Oh um.. me? Haha i dont..." i laugh a little and scooch to the other end of the seat. "well just my opinion." he walks off with theater stuff in his arms. "oh and im Lynx by the way." i watch him turn towards me by the door. "i- "im Mina, n- nice to meet you.." he smiles a little before walking off. I run to my seat and wait for the teacher, when he gets here all the students arrive and we all begin to practice. After class was finished i looked at the door to see hina waiting for me as the bell rang. I ran over to her and smiled a little."so how was your class mina?" she asks as we walk to the doors."it was ok" i start to smile."hey mina can i ask you something?" i look behind me, my hair swirls and my bangs swish across my face, i recognize that face. Its lynx. "huh.. oh sure.." i look at hina again, "hina can you save a seat for me on the bus?" i ask her. "Sure!" she smiled and ran out the doors to the bus. I look back at lynx and walk towards him. "what did you want to talk about?" i look at him, my eyes shimmer from the light coming from the windows. "i wanted to know if you wanted to join the school play. There are auditions on thursday if you want to join." he pulls out a flyer and gives it to me. "i really think you have a talent." i blush a little and take the paper gently from his hands. I look at the details: "The Music Girl" the picture shows a girl playing a piano and some other characters and information about the play. I hold it close to me, "thanks lynx!" i smile and look up at him. "no problem. Oh and here's this if you have any questions or ever need to contact me." he gives me his number, smiles a little then turns around and heads to the drama room. I look back towards the buses and run out quickly, get on our bus and sit next to hina. "what's that??" she takes it out of my hands and reads it. "Ooh can i join!!! It says artist needed and im one!" i laugh at her and smile. "sure hina, im sure they will let you." when me and hina get home i slip off my shoes and get my phone, the poster and Lynx's phone number and run up stairs and hop onto my bed squealing a bit, once i calmed down i laughed at myself and put the poster and number on my desk and headed down stairs. I see hina laying on the couch watching tv, i got my homework out and started working, "hinaaa." i smirk a little "dont you have homework too?" she looks at me like she dosent care and watches tv again. "Ill do it later." she waves her hand and keeps watching. I laugh at her a little and look at my homework and tilt my head a little, "hmm..." i tap my pen against my chin as i think. I look up at mom and dad cooking. I open my mouth to ask a question then close it knowing my parents wouldn't know. I lower my eyes slightly looking at the paper again. I sigh and get up, get naomi, grab a jacket and walk outside. I look at the clouds. "Nice day for a walk." i look at naomi and smile at her, her tongue lolling as she walks. I look up again. "Hey Mina, hey naomi!" lukas runs up to us, his light brown hair waves in the wind as he runs, his dog tyler runs beside him and goes to naomi. "Hey lukas!" i smile at him and Tyler. "Hey! Mina i gotta show you something cool!" he huffs. "Follow me this way!" He starts to run again. "Huh?" i giggle a little. "Okay!" i run quickly after him. He stops swiftly and and i stop skidding to a halt. "There." i look to where he points and see a small comet. "Woah!" i run over closer to it and lukas follows me. "Where did it come from?" i look at him. "I dont know, i just saw it here and had to come get you." he smiles blushing a little. "Wow." i look over at him "thanks." i smile happily then look at it again raising a hand toward the comet. "What are you doing?" he looks a little concerned. "I just want to see it." i laugh a little and touch it. Suddenly after i touch it i appear in a dark place, i try to breathe but my chest feels heavy. I look around confused wondering where i am. "I- is this my dream..." i say quietly, it echoes around me and i see a faint light in the distance, i walk near it wondering what it is. I get close to it and see Lukas, naomi and tyler surround me. "Mina! Wake up! I watch as lukas trys to wake my body. I reach out and touch the light.... "Minx! Minx!?" i moan as i wake up. "Wha- what happened?" i look up towards Lukas. "Oh thank god your alive!" he sighs in relief. "You touched that comet then fainted so i picked you up and took you away from it." i look around, "so where am i now?" i look at him "i took you to my house because i didn't want to upset your parents.." he looks at me worried shyly. I sit up, "trust me, they wouldn't care." i laugh slightly then look at him, "but thank you for caring for me." i smile at him. "Oh and naomi is down stairs, i gave her some water." "thank you lukas" i get up and head downstairs and call for naomi who runs to my side. I walk home looking at the dark sky. "I hope ill be ok for going to school tomorrow.. That was weird how that all happened.." i say to naomi like she understands me. I walk into the quiet house, go to my room and get ready for bed. The next morning i wake up i look around the room tiredly wondering where hina is and i sit up. "Hina! where are you?" i hear a faint voice downstairs, ""Eating breakfast!" i sigh and get up and get dressed as usual. I close the door and look in the mirror and see that my hair has turned pink. I wonder how then touched my hair, still silky as always. I put it up in a pony tail and walk out to the dining room and eat breakfast before heading to school. Near the end pf the day i looked around the halls looking for lynx. I walked into the theater room and saw him talking with some other people and handing them flyers. I walked down towards him close enough and hide in the seats so they couldn't see me but that i can what hes saying. "oh thank you so much lynxy!!!" the girl that was talking to him said. She hugged him but he didn't care. When she finished she smiled and ran off. I look towards him a little and stand up. "uh.. hi.. lynx.." i say a little shakily. "hey mina." he says to me casually. "Did you want to addition?" he looks at me and my heart melts a little and i get nervous. "um.. sure.." i walk out of the rows and walk to the stage. "So um.. what do i do?" i look around and see a piano behind me. he point to the piano with his pen. "you can use it if you like." i look back towards him sitting at a desk. "really?" he nods at me. I go back and sit at the piano. I smile and start to play the song, "see you again." i sing the lyrics as well. As i keep singing some other students over hear from outside and look in. When i finish i hear a loud applause and blush a lot, "huh?" i look up and see students cheering happily, lynx, sitting at the desk was quiet writing notes. his eyes shifted from my eyes to my hair. as the crowd started to walk off to their separate places Lynx began to speak. "nice performance." his voice sweet and calming. i start to blush a little. " thank you!" i bow my head, my bangs cover my face. i raise my head again and hear him speak. " so you changed your hair. like the poster?" i widen my eyes a little and blush more before covering my hair. "Uh! no." i say a little nervously. "well it looks beautiful. even if you didn't mean to dye it." i raised my hands a little off my head a little. "r- really..?" i looked at his eyes and wondered if he really meant it.
