"Hurry up Sally" I call impatiently, I want to get home, we barely got any homework and all I want to do is make a batch of popcorn and finish watching Friday Night Lights for the fifth time enforce they take it off Netflix in a month. This plan seems to be disappearing before my eyes as Sally talks to her boyfriend about the most pointless and boring things ever. "So what's going on with you and Tim" David ask turning to me with a smirk on his face. I grab Sally's arm and start walking "absolutely nothing" I shout over my shoulder and march on.
"Can you come over" Sally asked, and I don't even hesitate, her huge house is filled with her three siblings and her mum is honestly the nicest person I have ever met.
We go up to her room and I grab a baggy tracksuit from her wardrobe which actually turns out to be mine, half of our wardrobes are in each other's houses at this point. Plopping myself on the bed I pull out my phone, I'm scrolling through snapchat when Sally grabs my hand, "no way, not until you've helped me with my English essay" I sigh," Sally that was due last week and I saw you hand it up what are you talking about". "I'm talking about the fact that I got a D and I want your help I know you got at least an A minus because he smiled when he gave it back to you which he never ever does". Rolling my eyes I grab the sheet she's waving around, "Sally it is so clear you did this in bed " I say laughing a little at the amount of red pen covering it. "Ok, I'll do it of you never ask me again for homework" I say. "Of course" she says sarcastically, we both know she never does the homework and this promise won't change anything, we laugh and I'm glad for her, sometimes going back to my big, empty house is horrible. I love going to her house and ruths and I love when they come to mine. I wish Ruth was here know but she's getting extra biology classes because she's almost failed the last two tests. She'll be here soon. For ages it was just me and Ruth, two best friends and I loved it.  But when we were put in a group for a project with Sally soon after she moved to our school, we literally clicked and moved from being a group of two besties two three so easily. I don't believe in fate and destiny and all that stuff but seriously; we all love on the same road.  It's amazing. The majority of our year are nice, but so quiet, there's 7 girls who are the popular girls of our year. They're bitches, no other way to put it. They leave me, Sally and Ruth alone though because they know that outside school were the popular ones, mostly because the guys like is because we're funny and nice and don't care about slutting it up with every guy we meet. Some of them are OK alone but together they are collectively the nastiest group of people ever.
Suddenly I remember the message from Jason, " oh my god Sally, guess who texted me last night, Jason who met in Spain over the summer"  "Galway Jason? What did he want" she says quizzically. "I don't know , I haven't even opened it yet, I completely forgot about it" I reply. " well open it already then, he was the blond one wants he was really friendly, not that you would remember" she adds slyly " Shut up" I retort, I met a guy called John form England and didn't end up paying much attention to anyone else at all.. But I do remember Jason, very well in fact he was really nice and funny and we got on great . Clicking into messages I open the app and read with Sally peering over my shoulder.

"Oh my god" says Sally, "he'll defenitly be in our group of guy friends if he's going to St

"Oh my god" says Sally, "he'll defenitly be in our group of guy friends if he's going to St. John's, he'll fit in so well". This will be great I think to myself, he and I got on so well and I've always wanted a really close guy friend and I think he could be the one.  " I'll say of course and ask him when he's arriving, maybe he could meet up with David aswell
