"Good morning! N-not like I care about you!" Is what I hear from my friend Hitarou as soon as I walk into school.
I say "Good morning Hita-kun!" In a cheery tone.
"Jeez what took you so long (y/n)? N-not like it matters!"
I tell him the truth "My mother was late with breakfast again so I'm a bit late..."
"O-oh that makes sense." He seems a bit disappointed.
We walk together in silence as we get to our lockers and then to the court yard. I sit down at the fountain and enjoy my book.
Hikarou's p.o.v
She sits at the fountain and reads her book. God she's so pretty with her (h/c) hair and her beautiful (e/c) eyes, I just wish I didn't get so nervous around her. I have to be quick though I heard another boy was going to ask her out this Friday... I guess I should just back off, she's too good for me. AHH! What am I thinking I'm such a Baka! That's it I'm giving her a note to meet me at the Sakura tree behind the school this Friday, I hope she accepts my feelings.
