This one is simple... and seemingly obvious.
The 2p's were created and grew up their whole lives knowing that they were second best.
They knew they were by-products.
They weren't original.
They weren't one of a kind.
They have no people.
They have no government.
They have no purpose as personifications.
And it KILLS them on inside.
To have to ask the question...
"Why do I exist..?"
