Homestuck Afterbound

Act 8 Part 13

(Okay back to the story XD)

*BANG* Gracer turned to hear a sound from the stairs, Running out of her room. "Gracer, What happened?" Tareli asked, startled. "I think Aureli fell down the stairs!" Gracer said, kneeling down to Aureli. Aureli Groaned a little, before picking her head up. Her wrist was rubbing against the floor. Aureli shot up as Her head started bleeding. She ran from the room into the living room, Everyone followed her quickly. They walked into the room to find Aureli tears streaming down her eyes as she drew, Swirls and lines followed by darkening and shapes, until she dotted and her hand fell, She scooted back sniffling. They went over and found her drawing, a detailed sketch of everyone. . .but no one was happy. They all stared at the drawing. Everyone was Crying, Gracer curled in a corner, Tareli tugging on her hair with tears down her face, Hosheo's eyes were flaring and Tears at the edge of their eyes, Graysil next to them her eyes flared also but she was tugging on Hosheo's arm for their attention, tears streaking her face. Aureli was standing still her wrist was clearly wounded and her eyes were filled with tears but, she held a smile.They looked back at Aureli Whose head was still bleeding, and wrist was actually injured. She had tears stained to her face as she blinked a couple more down. They all rushed to her. "Kanaya can you take Aureli to the hospital!? She might have a concussion." Tareli asked. Kanaya nodded then grabbed Aureli's hand and led her out of the house. Tareli took hold of the paper before ripping it to shreds. She grabbed her Morial, taking her into a hug. "She really knows how much of a crybaby I am,huh, Tareli?" Gracer asked, tears streaming down her face.

It had been 2 days since the drawing, and Gracer still saw it in her head, clearly. The agony everyone was in. Tareli hasn't spoken at all, Hosheo and Graysil are talking all the time now. And Aureli is still in the hospital. She did have a concussion and will be in treatment for a while. "Tareli are you up?" Gracer asked walking into the room, finding her Morial on the bed staring out the window. "Are you okay, you haven't said anything in awhile and Kanaya is starting to worry." Gracer smiled weakly. Tareli simply nodded.Gracer shook her head. "I can't live with you like this. Why is everyone so sad?" Gracer asked. Tareli stared blankly at her Morial. "What are you talking about?" she asked her voice hoarse. "You know very well what I'm talking about. Is it because we all know we're going to die soon?" Gracer asked, glancing at her life clock. Tareli shuddered at the word. "No! Why would I care about that!?" Tareli whisper shouted. "Don't lie to me. I know what you're thinking. And I know why you're sad. The REAL reason." she said. She then got up and walked away "I don't want to fight with you Gracer." Tareli growled. "I never said we were." she mumbled. "But it'll turn out that way if you don't drop it." Tareli said crossing her arms. Gracer didn't respond, but continued to walk. She grabbed Kanaya's phone and dialed a number. A faint "Hello?" was heard from it. "Hey, Eridan...can I come over?" Gracer asked. All Tareli could make out of the phone was. "I don't-wwith it.". "Great..I'll be there in a few." she mumbled. She hung up the phone and went upstairs. She then packed a few outfits and went out the door. Gracer felt a tug on her arm, "Where are you going?" She heard. Looking to her side she saw her Morial. "I'm going to Eridan's place. I can't deal with this right now. I think we need a little time apart." Gracer insisted, holding her bag of clothes in her fists. Tareli looked shocked for a second, second guessing her foot placement and falling a little she let go of Gracer's arm and caught her balance again. Tareli looked at her Morial and slightly nodded before averting eye contact. Gracer turned back and walked off.
