Chapter 1: The Begining (Again)

We were on our way to Oklahoma to see some family when the Honda broke down.
"Get a new car!" I said. "Or we're gonna die from this crap!"
"Ok, ok!" Mom said. She called a tow truck and went to the nearest car dealer. We bought a brand-new Ford Sedan and drove away. We eventually got there after like five or ten more hours filled with more road space; which if you know how boring that is, imagine it with two fifteen year olds in the backseat with me, one of them being my cousin Audrey and her boyfriend Will. Will and I constantly fought about who would win in a sword fight, Audrey or her older brother Jordan, and apparently gave Audrey a headache. She eventually got fed up and put her feet on me and laid back on Will (she was sitting in between us).
"If you shut up," she said, "I'll sit up straight." We kept arguing.

When we got to a hotel in Oklahoma, Audrey was asleep, so Derek--my stepdad--and Will picked her up and carried her for unknown reasons. When we got to the door, she woke up and rubbed her eyes.
"Where are we?" She said.
"Oklahoma, baka!" I said. She glared at me and I grinned.
We got a room, got settled in, blah blah blah.
