Rana, a princess of humble yet confident demeanor, was pacing back and forth. She was worried about the crowning ceremony that would put her in front of almost the whole kingdom of Vocaloe. Her title as princess didn’t come with a true crown until today, her eighteenth birthday, as to uphold tradition, and she could not take the throne until the age of 25. This enticed those who lived in the kingdom to come and see how their princess is as a person, and how she planned to take care of the kingdom when she rightfully gets to oversee the kingdom and its inhabitants.
“Your highness, you will be presented to the kingdom in a few minutes”, said a young man, in his early twenties, or late teens, “you look absolutely stunning”, he said bowing to her. The servant lead Rana to the room behind the balcony and she followed.
With a loud booming voice, the ceremony leader spoke, “Now it is with great honor that I present Princess Rana to all of you eager souls as of to officially crown her as old enough to be able to lead a kingdom if necessary, but she cannot take the throne as of yet”. And with that, Rana stepped out onto the balcony and presented herself to the people whom she would be ruling over in a few years time, one of whom would make a huge impact on her life soon enough.
“I now crown you as princess,” said the ceremony leader. Every onlooker applauded as the crown was bestowed upon Rana’s head.
“Thank you,” said the pink haired princess. She looked at everyone who watched with a smile on her face, “I feel honored to be accepted by all of you here and I hope that you all believe in me as I try my best to keep peace and help every one of you”, Rana finished off. She bowed and exited the balcony.
Rana went down the staircase and to the entrance to meet all of her people. As she walked through the crowd, there was one young woman around her age whose image was then burned into Rana’s mind forever.
The girl had striking bright blue eyes with a hint of green and had bright blonde hair. A simple dress adorned the blonde girl and a bow on her head. Rana wished that she could personally make friends of any class, but she had to learn how to rule a kingdom, so she always had a full day and never had time to truly make friends. While seeing the blonde again, Rana noticed another person with her, a male twin, same eyes and hair color as his sister.
The princess went around looking at the different people she would would eventually rule over, and saying hello and accepting congratulations from attendees. Rana wondered for the rest of the day who the blonde girl was. The celebration lasted for another hour and ended close to sunset
--------------
That night Rana couldn't sleep, she could not get her mind off the blonde girl. So simple yet elegant in her own way. The queen in training was becoming more and provoked by the thought of who this simple young woman could be. Rana was awake for hours, she remembered that she would be getting the day to herself the following day after the ceremony. The reason she was getting the day to herself was because of how long the ceremony was and how much it tired her, so those in the castle felt she should be able to rest and do as she pleases.
Rana fell asleep later on and decided what she desired to do with her day.
