"Ava?" Sam's groggy voice rang out through the motel room. One of the lamps by their beds clicked on so I could see that both my dad and Sam were awake from my scream.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Dean looked instantly awake, as if he'd never been asleep in the first place.

"I- I just had a- a nightmare," I explain, trying to bring oxygen into my lungs, seeing as they're lacking in that element. "I- I'm okay," I reassure more to myself than Dean and Sam.

My dad and uncle carefully watch me as I stand and get a cup of water, chugging it down. I look at the time. It was almost time for me to start getting ready. After that nightmare, though, I'm not sure if I ever want to go outside again. I start grabbing clean clothes when Sam speaks up.

"What are you doing?" He asked, genuinely concerned over something that I'm doing.

"Taking a shower," I say simply. I was sticky and drenched in stink, I was taking a shower. I glance quickly at Dean to see him looking at the wall seemingly deep in thought. I send a reassuring smile towards Sam and continue into the bathroom. I set my clothes on the sink counter and strip out of my just barely soggy clothing from the day before. I turn the water on cold to help me wake up as well as cool me down. My body temperature felt almost as if someone had put me over an eternally burning fire. First, I let the water cool me down before turning it to warmer temperatures. I didn't want to freeze to death, naked in a shower with my dad and uncle in the next room.

As I stepped out, I heard the door of the motel room open and close. Was that someone coming or leaving? I quickly dry off and put my hair up in a messy ponytail and get dressed.

When I exit the bathroom, I find only Sam and myself to be in the motel room. "Where'd Dean go?" I ask.

"He went to get breakfast," Sam replies, followed by him clearing his throat. "Did you ever find a case?"

"I think so," I tell him. "A few people have gone missing and no bodies have been found. I couldn't find any connection between any of them yet, though." I explain.

Sam nods. "That's okay, if you're right and there is a case, there's not always connections between the victims." I nod, remembering him telling me that before. "Now," he says and looks at me with a serious expression on his face. Though his face says he means business, his eyes are filled with worry. "What was your nightmare about?"

I let out an awkward sound, a mix between a sigh and a laugh. "I don't remember most of it," I tell him, trying to avoid it. I didn't understand why, but my nightmare made me pretty scared just thinking about it, and it didn't even happen. "Why?"

"Remember when Dean and I were telling you everything?" I nod in response. "Around the time I was drinking demon blood, I would have visions."

"Visions?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"I would get quick flashes of something that ended up being a case." He explained. "I have the feeling that might be happening with you. That that's what your nightmare was, a vision."

"I don't think it was. And even if it was, I don't even know where I was in my dream." I shake my head, trying to get rid of the idea. I was not going all psychic. "Besides, I'm pretty sure I'm not drinking any demon blood." I explain.

"Can you tell me about your dream? I might be able to find out what was going on." Sam's face had gone from serious to kind and understanding. I hesitated for a moment before sitting on the couch and explaining to him what had happened in my dream. When I was finished, he looked worried. "You're sure that's all of it?" Sam asks and I nod. He sighs and stands up, walking to the table, opening his laptop. His fingers move quickly across the keyboard as he types something out.
