Ok so I was reading through the book and I noticed some things are a little confusing so here is and explanation of the last few chapters.
Chapter 1:
-Hiccup and Astrid ran away when they were 15
- Hiccup made Astrid go back to Berk a year later to make sure everything was ok but really it was to protect her (even though she doesn't need protection)
Chapter 2:
- Astrid surprised everyone when she appeared in front of her parents and Stoick on Trader Johhan's boat
- She told us her and Hiccups plan to run away together
Chapter 3:
- Everyone notices Astrid is different then from before, her parents and Stoick are worried for her sanity
- Astrid's lies about her whereabouts during the year she was gone.
Chapter 4:
- Ryker and Vigo appear on Berk, saying that they are takers and that their boat was torn apart by dragons
- Astrid knows who they really are and they know who she is
- Fishlegs found out about the year Astrid was gone
What happened while Astrid and Hiccup were gone:
- the first two seasons of dragons happened but instead of on Berk it happened on Itchy Armpit
- the dragon riders now include;
- Hiccup and Toothless
- Astrid and Stormfly
- Heather and Windshere
- Magnus and Torchjumper (Monsterous Nightmare)
- Bruce and Shatterwind (Thunderdrum)
- Marcus and Magma (Gronkle)
- the first two seasons of rtte happened before Hiccup made Astrid leave
