Mallori logged on to her new facebook as soon as she got home, because she had just made it yesterday, as she logged on, she saw she already had 3 friend requests, the first two were from her friends Izzy, & Kylie, then the third was from a guy named Steve, that she did not know, then she looked at her messages & she had one, so she checked it, & it was from Steve, he said, “Hi, you’re very pretty.” And she said “Thanks, but I don’t know you.” He replied instantly saying “that doesn’t matter.” She said, “well I just got my new ipod 5, & I don’t want to get it taken away by talking to strangers.” He then didn’t reply.

She noticed he had pictures of girls on his profile, then she looked at a picture of a guy, she assumed it was him, & she thought he looked very familiar..

She walks to school & home, & she thought she saw him standing in an alley, about a week ago..but she didn’t know how he would know her name?

The next day, she cautiously walked to school in the morning, looking everywhere, making sure the man was nowhere around, finally making her way into the school, the principal called her into the office, he asked her if she knew a man named Steve, & she said “no.” & he replied, “Well he called asking to pick you up from school today around 12:30 & I was concerned because he didn’t say much.” She then said, “Well I have no clue who he is, so he is not taking me anywhere.” He then said, “Well I don’t understand why a guy, you don’t know would try asking to pull you out of school for the day?”

“Neither do I?” She replied.  “Well, I’m not forcing you to go with anyone you don’t know, so you may go back to class, & I will give him a call, and your parents.”

“Uh, okay.” She replied softly, as she opened the door and stepped foot out of the room.

After school, she tried to keep cool, and glanced at about everything, making sure not to see the guy, then as she stepped foot in the door, her mom said, “Mallori, we need to talk..”

“Yeah, I know.” She responded.  “About that guy, why would someone try to pick you up from school, that didn’t get my permission, and I don’t even know him?”  “Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, because I don’t know him either?” Said Mallori.  Then she quickly pulled out her Ipod, & clicked the facebook app.

She noticed she had two messages, one from Steve, and the other was from her grandma, but she clicked Steve’s first, & read, “Hey why wouldn’t you let me pick you up from school today?”

She then typed, “I don’t even know you, and I can’t go somewhere with a complete stranger!”

Steve then replied with, “Yes, you can..”

“No, just leave me alone!” Mallori demanded.

 “OKAY BYE!” He replied.

The next day, Mallori felt pretty confident, & felt like it would be no problem walking to school safely, she decided to take a shortcut, just in case, so she skipped through the ally, not realizing that she dropped a book, & her Ipod, right out of her bag..

When she got to school, she ran to her locker quickly, thinking she was late, but then looking at a clock seeing she was early. She decided to go to the cafeteria and have breakfast, she reached in her bag, aiming to grab her Ipod, but not feeling it, then she opened her bag wide, & looked through all her stuff, then not seeing it still, she tipped her bag over and dumped everything out on the table.  Then she noticed, no Ipod again.

“MY IPOD!” she yelled. Her friends quickly looked at her, confused.

She then quickly said, “My ipod isn’t in my bag, & I am sure I put it in my bag in the morning, I need to call my mom” Getting up from the table she walked fast to the office.  She went straight to the phone at the front desk, & dialed her moms number, accidently typing it in wrong because she was so nervous, “Hello?” her mom answered. “Mom! my Ipod is gone, and I know I put it in my bag this morning!” She yelled through the phone.
