Promises are such fragile things. They're like glass, if you break one, the pieces of your words hurt. But sometimes, it's just so hard to keep them. Things can change after you make a promise, you don't know what the future holds or what might prevent you from keeping that promise. Sometimes it's just not meant to happen and life has other plans. Promises are also helpful tools, things that can help you through your day because you promised someone. Words have the ability to sort your true friends. A person that truly cares about you will stick with you, through thick and thin, even if you break a promise.
