Chapter 13 ~ Sorting things out

*Rebecca's point of view*

Both Jai and Beau rose in anger. They had been doing that a lot recently, well beau anyway. I was about to ask what was the matter, when Jai spoke for me.

"You fucking low life creep, what the fuck is wrong with you?!"

Then Beau carried on...

"You two timing bastard, what the fuck was going through your dirty, sick mind?!"

What?! Are they saying what I think there saying?

Then I spoke, lower than a whisper "Daniel?..."

No reply.

Then I spoke a little louder, able to hear "Daniel..."

No reply.

"Daniel tell me the fucking truth!" By this point I was really wound up. What's he hiding? Why can't he answer the question?

"FOR GODS SAKE DANIEL FOR ONCE IN YOUR GOD DAMN LIFE, STOP BEING SUCH A PUSSY AND ANSWER THE QUESTION, YOU OWE HER THAT AT LEAST!" Jai shouted.

A single tear rolled down his face, when he lifted his head, he looked at me with guilt and sorrow in his eyes, that was enough to give me the answer I needed.

I ran out the room and into the backyard. I just let my sobs out that I'd been holding in, when I heard someone approach me, I didn't have the energy to push them away so I just collapsed into their arms...

"Rebecca? Is that you? Are you crying? What the Fucks happening?!" It was James, I didn't realise how much I missed his hugs. Instead of answering with words, I just simply hugged him tighter!

*James' point of view*

I heard muffled cries coming from the other end of the yard, as I got closer I noticed it was Rebecca and began to panic, what's happened while I was gone? I ran over to her and brought her in for a bone crushing hug. I asked her what had happened but she just hugged me tighter so I got the feeling now wasn't the best time. I let go of her and told her to stay where she was. I made my way up to the house, I don't know what's happened, but for once in my life I'm going to do what is right for Rebecca and not make a scene. For now anyway.

"I don't want to know how, I don't want to know why, I just want to know who... Who the FUCK done that to my sister?" The whole room fell silent all eyes were on me, and then suddenly switched to Daniel... Thought so. I slowly approached him. He backed away in fear to what I was going to do, until he was stopped in his tracks by a wall.

"I don't want to know why the fuck you have made my little sister upset right now. I just want you out my fucking house before I change my mind. I'm not causing a scene for Rebecca's sake, but as soon as I find out why, I'm coming for you, so you better pray on your lucky stars that it's not as bad as I think, now get the fuck out of my sight, before i change my mind."

With that Daniel wiped a tear that fell down his face and ran out the house. I asked Luke to bring Rebecca into the living room, while I asked for Beau and Jai to go upstairs until I needed them. I'm starting to feel like a dad looking after his troubled teenage kids... When Luke came back in with Rebecca, I thanked him and asked him to stay upstairs for a while. Rebecca looked so vulnerable and weak. I won't go into what was said, just yet anyway but we had a real heart to heart and were back on track. After my time with Rebecca I asked for the boys to all come down, between the five of us, everything is settled and sorted out, although there was one thing that wasn't, Daniel. I guess what was said will be a story for another day, no doubt it will be brought up anyway but for now let's just forget. I still don't know what Daniel has done, but as soon as I find out, he's a dead man walking...
