The End

"You should leave first, they'll probably start looking for you soon." Felix says from the bathroom as he brushes his teeth.

"Alright." Felix pokes his head out.

"That means get dressed." Marzia laughs and rolls over.

"I don't want tooo, I want to stay here with you all day." Felix rinses his mouth and comes out of the bathroom.

"We'll see each other tonight." Marzia smiles, but suddenly the door bursts open.

"Princess!" Marzia screams and pulls the covers over herself as several guards file into the room.

"What the hell-hey!" Two guards grab Felix by his arms and start to lead him to the door.

"What are you doing, let go of him, he hasn't done anything!"

"We're sorry princess, but this man is under arrest, and I think you know why."

"Wha-"

"Please, princess, get dressed and come to the court room."

"What the hell is going on?!" Marzia asks as she storms into the court room.

"Watch your language young lady!" The judge says.

"This young man is being tried for treason against the black and blue kingdoms. His crime: falling in love and having intercourse with the future kings fiancé. Sir, how do you plea?" Marzia turns with wide eyes to the witness stand. Felix locks eyes with her.

"Guilty."

"Guilty? So you do not deny these accusations?"

"Absolutely not. I will not lie about my love for this princess."

"Felix.." Marzia looks to her left and sees his father in the stands.

"Well.. I suppose if you do not deny these accusations, then I shall give my ruling."

No. No no no, please.

Marzia's eyes start to water.

"Death, by the noose."

"No! You can't do that! I was a part of it as much as he was! I love him too!"

"I'm sorry miss but the law is the law. Guards, please escort princess Marzia to her room." Guards try and drag her away while she kicks and shouts to Felix how much she loves him. The boy just watched as she's taken away, until the doors close in his face.

"Felix Kejerger, you have been sentenced to death by hanging, for the crime of treason. Do you have any last words?" Felix looks up into the crowd, the rope rubbing against his throat. He finds Marzia and makes eye contact with her.

"I love you."

The leaver is pulled and Felix falls. His neck snaps instantly.

"NOOOO!!"

A big energy wave sweeps over the crowd as Marzia's knees hit the ground.

"NOOOO!" She sobs and screams, then suddenly her head falls back and her eyes turn black. The Earth begins to shake and cracks form in the pavement. People scream and run away from Marzia. There's another energy pulse, then a bright light.

"What the fuck just happened." Marzia blinks several times, then looks up and sees Felix standing in the doorway of the bathroom with his toothbrush in his hand.

Tears instantly start to fall down Marzia's face.

"Am I dead?"

"Uhm.. I don't think so?"

"But-but I saw you die! I saw them hang you, I-I heard your neck snap!"

"But we're back here."

Suddenly Marzia remembers feeling a surge of energy and seeing a light.

"It was me."

"What?"

"I..I turned back time."

"Oh my god. You must be like the most powerful sorcerer in the world!"

"I doubt that."

"Marzia, you turned back time a whole day, and brought me back to life."

"Isn't that part of the turning back time?"

"Sh, whatever, just hurry and get dressed before those guards come." Marzia flings out of bed and throws on her clothes. She stops rushing around before she leaves to go to Felix.

"I love you." Felix kisses her deeply then pulls away.

"I love you too, I'll see you tonight. Now go, quickly."

Marzia smiles to herself as she walks down the halls.

He isn't dead anymore. We didn't get caught.

Her smile fades as she realizes that it's too dangerous to try spend the night again. That night was it. Their nights of laughter and bliss together are over forever.

It's our last night together, I'm going to make it the best night that I can.

Felix beams as he makes his way to their secret room.

"Marzia?" Felix whispers as he opens the door, but she's not there.

"Are you here?" No answer.

He walks over to the bed and sees a note.

'Dear Felix,

   I'm sorry that I'm not here. After what happened before, I can't risk it. I can't watch you die again. What if I can't reverse it that time? Then you'd be gone forever...

I hope you can forgive me for this. I still love you, and will always keep you in my heart. I will never forget what you gave me that night, and I hope that you will do the same.
