Listen to the song on the side ... Listen carefully it sounds like they are saying WEED BROWNIES! It goes well with the chapter!
“I’ve heard you’ve been looking for me Richard.” Alan put the cigarette to his lips and took a long drag. He leaned against the school and looked at me.
“Yeah, I have.” I reached into my back pocket and pulled out a wad of cash. “I have a business proposition for you.” He stared at my money.
“What you want to buy?” long drag, smoke blow from nose. Pretty cool.
“Depends on what you have.” I put the money back in my pocket and looked at Alan.
“Dude, I got everything. Just say what you want and I’ll get it for you.” He flicked the cigarette on the ground and stepped on it.
“You prescribe anything?” I leaned against the wall and looked at the sky.
“Depends on the person.”
“What would you say for me?” I glanced at him. He was silent for a few moments. Thinking.
“For you? I’d say Marijuana.” He nodded his head. “Yep. Definitely Marijuana.”
“Okay. That’s what I want.” I pulled my money out my pocket and flipped through it.
“Cool. I think for you, I’ma give you a discount cause you’re so cool.”
“Thanks,” I handed him a 20.
“Good choice. Don’t want to overdo it.
“When can I pick that up?”
“Tomorrow is great. You can come by my house to pick it up.” I nodded my head.
“Yea, okay.” Alan took out his wallet and handed me a business card.
“That’s my address. Come around one…yeah that’s good.” He nodded his head and pulled out another cigarette.
“Okay, see you tomorrow.” I turned around and started walking home.

“Hey Richard, come on in.” Alan opened the door wider and stepped to the side. I walked in and stood awkwardly in the foyer; his house was HUGE.
“Follow me,” he started walking down a hall and I went after him. “Make yourself at home. I’m going to go get your order…” he backed away and went around a corner. I sat on tone of the white couches and glanced at the coffee table.
“Brownies?” I reached out and picked one up. It looked amazing. I poked it to test its firmness. Very soft.
“Hey Alan?” I yelled, hoping that he wasn’t too far away.
“Yo,” I turned around and saw Alan walking into the room with a brown bag in his hand. “What’s up?”
“Are these…brownies?”
“Oh…kinda. They’re weed brownies.” He smiled and shrugged.
“Weed brownies,”
“Yea, weed brownies.” I must have looked really weirded out because he started laughing at me. “Eat it.”
“I don’t know Alan…I don’t want to die of food poisoning.” I smiled to lighten the joke that I really ment.
“Dude, just eat it!”
“Okay, okay, chill!” I stared at the brownie and slowly bit off a small part of it.
“And?” Alan was staring intently at my face.
“It’s…good.” I laughed. I must admit, I was very scared to eat that brownie.
“And you’re not dead so you can breathe now.” He laughed and slapped me on the back.
“Ha. Yea.” I shook my head and ate the rest of it.
“Okay so…I have your order. Right here.” He put the bag on his lap.
“Hmm…okay” I reached for the bag and looked inside. What the hell am I looking at?
“You know, if you want me to show you how to smoke it…just say so.” he chuckled. Am I that easy to read? Honestly.
“Please do. I might end up eating it.” He laughed.
“No, no.” he pulled a rolled up bag out of the package. “You really don’t want to eat this.”
The nervousness of what I was about to do finally started to sink in. Oh well. I can already feel a buzz coming from those brownies anyway. Might as well go all the way under.
