"Babe! Wake up, you dork! It's Christmas morning!" I heard the beautiful voice of my lover, Gerri, as she started to poke at my cheekbones. I smiled slightly with my eyes kept closed and tightened my grip on her small body, feeling her snuggle closer to me in bed. I gently kissed her forehead and opened my eyes slowly, the brightness of the very-natrual lighten room burning my eyes slightly. When my eyes finally had opened completely, I was staring into those gorgeous, hazel eyes of her.
"Morning, baby girl.." I said raspily, clearing my throat to get rid of my morning voice. I smiled faintly, snuggling the side of my face into the cool pillow. "What time is it?"
"It's.." she said softly then titling her head back to see the time on the clock on the bedside table behind her,"eight. I'm sorry I woke you up, but I was awake for a while and I got bored so I wanted to wake you up." She giggled lightly then the corners of her lips lifting up, creating that beautiful smile that I fell for. She gently nuzzles her head under my chin and wrapped her slender arms around my torso.
I could feel my heart flutter faster and faster as she pulled me closer to her; the best feeling in the world to me is knowing I have the girl I love in my arms. God, the things this girl does to me with just a simple gesture.
I returned the affection by wrapping my arms around her tiny waist, kissing her hair gently. I slowly sat up with her in my arms and held her up bridal style, carrying my princess downstairs to our very decorated living room.
I smiled widely, showing my teeth and set her down on the ground next to all the presents 'Santa' had brought us. "We must of been good children this year, sweetheart." I chuckled lightly and spread my body across the dark colored couch, watching as Gerri's eyes grew excited and happy so quick and heard her giggle in joy.
She grabbed my arm and tugged me to sit next to her, laughing happily at her great excitement. I handed her the gifts that had her name on them and she handed me the gifts that had my name on them, quickly opening them. All we got were simple gifts but they still were the best, Gerri got some posters on her favorite animes, a sweatshirt with Jack and Sally on the back and others more while I got loads of band merch, like rubber bracelets and t-shirts.
After we were done opening the last of our gifts, I grabbed my beautiful girl by her hips and pulled her into my lap, wrapping my arms around her waist. "There's one more. I bought it. I just hope you'll love it."
"I love anything you do for me, besides, it's the thought that counts. But Aaron, you really didn't neeed to buy anything for me.. no need to spend money on me." She bit her lower lip gently and looked up at me as I pouted.
"I wanted to, baby. I really did. You'll love it. I promise." I smiled softly and reached under the tree, reaching my hand towards the very back, feeling dead pine needles and pieces of wrapping paper until my fingers touched a slender box. I grinned and quickly pulled it out, I had to keep it hidden so it would be a grand surprise. "Here.."
She gently grabbed the box, looking at me confused then back down at the gift. She gently opened the box and gasped softly, looking back at me. I gave her a silver heart locket and it was really beautiful, it even had a small snowflake pattern on the front.
"It has a picture of us. David, being the creep he is, took a picture of us when we were asleep on the couch. I loved the picture and cropped it so it's so tiny, it could fit."
"I-Its.. beautiful, Aaron!" She quickly wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me gently while I on the other hand, squeezed her tightly to my chest. "I love you.. Aaron. Merry Christmas"
I kissed her temple gently and whispered in her ear softly, "I love you more, Gerri.. and Merry Christmas."
