Serena sat up abruptly. "Huh?" She looked around at her surroundings. She was in bed? "Was that all just a dream...?" Serena mumbled, thinking very hard.

"Oh, you're awake." She turned to her right as she heard a voice.

"Ash?" Serena tilted her head slightly, staring at the raven haired boy whom was yawning. "Were you asleep..?"

Ash nodded. "Everyone is worried sick. You've been knocked out like that for four days. We have no idea what you did that day, but it was crazy! It was like a totally different person!" Ash explained.

"So, It wasn't a dream..." Serena mumbled. She then turned back to Ash. "Hold on, why were you sleeping in here, anyways?"

"O-oh, right. Uh, well... I couldn't sleep last night. I was worried incase you wouldn't wake up.. So I ended up coming in here and falling asleep, I guess... I know, it sounds stupid... I was just scared ya know?" Ash sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, blushing slightly.

Serena looked at him. It looked like he was sitting on a chair at the side of her bed. He must've fallen asleep on there. 'At Least he wasn't in my bed or anything.... ' Serena thought to herself, making her face go red. 'In my bed?! Of course he wasn't in my bed! We're just friends! Wait! What an I even saying?!' She yelled in her mind.

"Serena, you okay? You look kinda red. Do you have a fever?" He tilted his head. Before Serena could answer him, he cut her off. "Hold on. Stay here." Ash said as he walked out of the room.

'I wonder where he's going?' Serena asked herself in her head. She then looked back up as the door opened again, revealing Ash. He was carrying what seemed to be a damp cloth.

"Here," Ash smiled, sitting next to her. "Have this." He spoke, laying the cloth onto Serena's forehead. "It should help with whatever you're coming down with... I think." He shrugged. Serena lay there, blushing madly.

"T-thanks, Ash..." She stuttered. Ash just smiled at her.

"When you're feeling okay, come out and we can all talk about what happened, okay?" Ash said, walking to the door. Serena nodded and he turned off the lights, exiting the room.

A while later-

"Oh, Serena!" Clemont smiled as he watched her leave her room.

"Morning, Clemont." She smiled.

"Morning? I think you mean afternoon." Clemont laughed.

"Gee, afternoon? It's already that late, huh." Serena giggled.

Clemont nodded. "Yep. We've been waiting to talk to you, if you don't mind?"

Serena paused for a moment, knowing what they wanted to talk about. She then nodded. "Alright." She said quietly. Her and Clemont then went into the sitting room where Ash and Bonnie were watching T.V. "Hey, guys." Serena smiled softly.

"Hey! Glad to see you're up!" Smiled Ash.

Serena giggled and sat down. "Yeah." Bonnie was too distracted by the Television to notice Serena.

"So, about what happened..." Clemont started. "What was all of that? I mean... How... And why? Who were they?"

"Let's take it easy, Clemont. One question at a time." Ash chuckled.

"I'm sorry." Serena frowned. "I knew I shouldn't have come to visit... It was too dangerous."

"Why do you say that, Serena?" Clemont tilted his head.

"Well, I had a feeling those guys would come. I should have never come... I'm sorry." She apologised again, her head hanging low.

Ash shook his head. "Don't be sorry. We're all glad you came." Ash smiled. Clemont nodded his head in agreement.

Serena smiled gently at the two. "You guys really are amazing.. I'm glad to have you all as friends..."

"Serena, may I ask why those people kidnapped us?" Clemont questioned.

"Well, you see.. Those three work for my father. They know that if they captured you guys, I'd run after them. They wanted to take me back to my father- they've been at it a while. I actually... I ran away from home a few years ago. It was round about the time I met Bonnie, actually. Bonnie looked as if she was lost- I couldn't just leave her, she was so helpless. I assume that she was separated from Clemont, but I obviously didn't know that then. She didn't know what to do. I don't blame her. She was so young. I helped Bonnie, and since my father sent out people to look for me, the three you met the other day spotted me and realised my new bond with Bonnie. That lead to them kidnapping Bonnie like they did earlier. I rescued Bonnie and vowed to protect her for as long as I lived that day. We were then walking in town a few days later, and she got really excited when seeing a boy with blonde hair, so we walked over to him. I was very confused until I realised they were siblings. Later that day, I said bye to Bonnie and Clemont and promised I'd come back to visit them."

"Wow..." Ash stared. "Was this before we met eachother at Pokémon camp?"

Serena nodded. "You see, I was wondering one day and discovered the camp. I some how ended up joining, I guess." She giggled.

"If I may ask, Why did you run away from home, Serena?" Clemont asked, curious.

"You saw what I did to that man the other day, yes?" Serena asked, getting a clear nod from the two boys. "Well, I have special abilities. It's hard to believe, but I guess you're going to have to go with my word. Especially after what you saw..." She sweatdropped. "My father abused my powers. He always tested on me, and made me do horrible things. I just kinda snapped one day and left."

Clemont and Ash just stared at Serena in awe.

"Serena!" Serena turned her head to Bonnie.

"Yeah, Bonnie?" She smiled.

"Thanks." Bonnie grinned.

"Thanks for what?" Serena tilted her head.

"For being my guardian angel." She said, giving a big toothy grin. Serena just giggled and hugged Bonnie while Ash and Clemont snapped out of their gaze, and smiled at the girls.
