" I swear I'm never going to go back on a motorcycle ever again...and if I do it'll not be with you." I felt sick as I hopped off the motorcycle. I was so happy to be off it. Dorian drove like a mad man. Then again I don't think Landon would have been any safer.

We had drove thirty minutes farther downtown before the two stopped and parked their motorcycles on the side of a rundown pub. In fact everything downtown looked run down rather than uptown. The building looked worn down and several cracks and paint chips cover them. Ropes hung from building to building hold clothes. papers covered the roads. The people didn't look as classy as the ones uptown either. They basically looked third class rather than first class.

The pub looked nicer on the inside rather than the outside but not by much. Very few people were in there at the time and paid no attention to us. A small wall was lined with different bottles of which I assumed were filled with alcohol. The walls were also adorned in posters. The table and chairs looked as if they'd seen better days.

Dorian gave the bartender nod as we walked past him to a room in the back. It looked to be an office which I assumed was where the barkeeper kept money and more. Dorian bent down and flipped up a side of the rug that covered the hardwood floor. Dorian then opened the small trap door that was hidden underneath the rug and hopped down in it.

" Ladies first," Landon said as he moved to the side for me. I carefully hopped down with Landon following after. It looked to be a tunnel that went on for miles and miles.

" Is this a tunnel or something?" I questioned.

" Eh more like a sewer system or was. Now it's a way that us part of the rebellion can safely travel to base. The bartender is an uncover Nightshade Vision guard." Landon explained as he dug through his bag and pulled out a sphere. He whispered something and it suddenly turned on like a flashlight.

" It takes us straight to base but it's a bit of a walk from here." Landon stated as he began walking down the tunnel.

" Okay." I start noticing that there were posters over the stone walls. Some with pictures of people, war posters, movie posters, and more. Then one particular poster caught my eye. There was a young woman on it who was unbelievably beautiful face but a huge X was spray painted over it.

" Who is that woman?" I ask going up to the poster. Both boys stopped and glared at the poster.

" That is the woman who started all this." Dorian said bitterly. I looked away from the poster and we went back to walking. It was evident that they didn't like her. Dorian's words practically dripped in hatred for this woman.

" What's her name?" I asked curiously. I was interested to find out about this woman. The two boys shared a look and ignore my question and continued walking. I frowned and held my head down. Maybe I asked one of those," I can't tell you the answer until we're all together" questions...

" Anya? Anya!" Dorian yelled. I jumped at the sound of his voice and turned around to them.

" Where are you going?" Landon chuckled. " We're here."

" We're here....How long have we been walking for?" I asked.

" Eh for around an hour maybe." He shrugs and pulls down a ladder that led us up and out of the tunnel. Had we seriously been walking that long? It felt like maybe half an hour rather than a whole hour.

After Dorian climbed the ladder, I took one last look at the tunnel before popping my head up to see that we were in a wasteland. Climbing all the way out, I frowned. Building were burnt to the ground, the air was heavy, the sky was gray. This place looked all devoid of life.
