Chapter 2

*Riker's POV*
Sweet! I got her number!! I am so excited!

"Riker, dude are you okay?" Rocky asked me with a concerned look on his face.

"Yeah, why would you think I'm not?" I asked confused. Ugh, Rocky can be so confusing sometimes I wish he could be more straightforward.

"Because you just had the biggest smile on your face and you were doing a happy dance," he said with a chuckle. Once those words left his mouth I felt my cheeks heat up. Well this is embarrassing.

"Oh, haha I didn't notice," I replied and tried to hide my pink cheeks.

"But for real, Riker, why are you so excited?" asked Rydel while wiggling her eyebrows. Well it looks like they won't leave me alone until I tell them.

"I got Summer's number and I'm excited to call her," I responded and immediately picture of Summer came into my head. Why was she so pretty?

"Ohhh that's my boy," Rocky said and patted me on the shoulder.

"Oh my god, I'm so excited for you!! She's really pretty!!" Ryder exclaimed and went to give me a hug.

"Congrats, Riker," Ross and Ellington said in unison.

"When are you going to call her?" Ryder asked. Geez this girl wanted to know everything.

"I don't know. Maybe when we are home," I replied and smiled at her.

Once we got home everyone went to do their own things. Quietly I made my way upstairs and took out my phone, well here goes nothing. Taking out the paper Summer gave me I typed in her number. After 3 rings she picked up.

"Hello, who is this?" she asked and I smiled from the sound of her voice.

"Hey, Summer, it's Riker," I answered.

"Oh, hey. How's it going?" she asked.

"I'm good. Do you want to come over tomorrow and hang out with R5?" I asked her. Yeah I know that I said R5, but in reality I wanted her to hang out with me even though that sounded very selfish. I just hope she says yes.

*Summer's POV*
Huh, Riker's invitation sounded good but I didn't want to "hang out" with them, I wanted to get some more information for the article I was writing about them. This would definitely get me a raise.

"Sure," I replied and smiled to myself. This is going to be great.

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow," Riker replied and that's how our conversation ended. I can't wait to see how tomorrow will go.
