Woke up with a hoarse voice. Second time in my 40s to lose my voice. My! On a Sat morning, all I did was spent two hours of my time, waiting to see a doctor.

While waiting, other patients started showing up. Many, armed with their mobile devices, use that powerfully to manage the "wait". Some others, took their cue numbers, and got out for their meals before returning to see the doctor.

The number panel stood still.

Chatters filled the air.

Heads still bowed looking at the mobile devices.

The agony of waiting.
