Chapter 1

Boy of 14, so dark and lean
straight A's and B's
there was never a C
Captain of the basketball team
coudn't get any mean

But behind the scene
of this man so lean
is a boy with a golden heart
bleeding slowly and slowly
till all thats left is a shallow heart

Pains and blood, fills his days
for his drunken father and slutty mother
but a baby girl is what he keeps
for all he needs is the girl to keep

'Shhh.. baby big brother's here'
his slow mumble to soothe the child's sound
'Its ok baby' he soothes to block the quarrelling sounds
But not even his voice can conceal the pain he's been hiding

Abused by his father and mother,
he hides himself and sister
to prevent any harm on the babe
So on then he was getting the harm for the babe

Eventually people came on their 'humble' abode
Took the baby all alone, said Child services would care for her
Since her older brother cannot support the needs and care for the young babe

Weeks turn to months, months turn to years
With no happiness in his heart,
he turns to cuts and scars

"Drip..drop.." as his blood flows and
as the life out of his body slowly goes
"Good bye world" before he shut his tears

Sirens through the street can be heard a mile away
Screams and tears flow in his stead
Even when they dont care
They really did

Friends and family came to his death
Crying and weeping
For they lost a beloved
that stole their hearts

Searching for things they thought he left
They saw a letter
Bathed in read
With a single read
Thats all she needs

To break down crying for his beloved man
