I sat on my bed for a while after Zoe had left. My parents where out so it was just me and Todd home alone. It was a little bit boring but Youtube kept me from being completely bored out of my mind. I had been watching some of my old videos and laughing a bit as well as watching some of Zoe's to make me feel closer to her.
It was starting to get late though and I wanted to go to bed. I had literally done nothing with my day, like usual. I went downstairs to go and get a glass of water when I saw him.
Todd was lying in the middle of the floor sprawled out a weird way. I walked over to him and ran a hand along his back. I instantly shivered at touching him though. He was cold. He wasn't breathing.

I was pacing back and forth in my room trying to get a hold of Zoe. I knew she was at Louise's and she should answer her phone. I had called her about three times but she had yet to answer. My eyes were still stinging from the tears. I missed Todd already.
I wanted to talk to someone. I had told my parents what had happened but they didn't want to talk about it. They knew he was old and it was his time to go, but they didn't want to pour my feelings out to them. They didn't realise how much I loved that cat.
I loved Todd so much and now he was gone. Forever.
