I look around to see what had woken me up, was it the cat? The mouse? Or was there something else?
From day one I knew this place was haunted. When I first stepped inside I felt a disturbance, and my parents had already told me this was a bad idea. But did i listen to them? No, and now I was suffering the consequences of my actions.
I wish I had never left my home in the first place, and now I'm scared as hell. The flame from the candle I lit up before I slept was now gone, a picture of me and my family was turned down, and worst of all, the rocking chair was rocking on its own. I closed my eyes and counted to three as I let out a deep breath.
This isn't happening, I chanted in my head. I opened my eyes and I was utterly gobsmacked, and I swear my heart stopped. There was a woman standing in front of my bed. She had long hair and was wearing white. I could not see her face because her hair was masking it, and her mouth was emotionless. Her white dress was tinted and smeared with red blood that looked like she had just killed someone.
She then started to walk around my room, sitting on the rocking chair whilst looking around. I couldn't sleep, knowing that there was a disturbance in my room. What if she did something to me when I closed my eyes?
She then stood up and paced around my bed again, and I swear I wanted to run back to where my family was, but I couldn't. I was stuck in my place because I was scared. She started walking nearer and nearer to me until...
She passed through the wall and into my neighbors house, and just like that she was gone. Me being already scared, took that as an opportunity to pack up and leave because I couldn't stay there any longer, what if I see her again?
I quickly ran down the stairs and drove away, good thing my house wasn't that far, but on the way over I saw some cops looking at a car crash. I cautiously got down and looked around.
It was already four in the morning, I pressed the doorbell and waited and waited, but no one came out. Finally an annoying neighbor came out and I asked her why no one was answering the door. What she replied haunted me forever.
"Your mom was in a car accident, driving to your house in a nightgown because she was worried about you, but her body was no where to be found."
