Chapter 1

Sweat trickled down my forehead as the airplane started to descend. I was flying back to the United States, to finish my senior year with my twin brother, Nicholas, and my dad.

I had been living in the UK for 3 years, since I was 14, with my mum, while my brother had been living in the US with my dad.

My phone beeped.

Nick: Where are you???

Natalie: Leaving the airport, right now. Patience, boy ;)

Nick: I've been waiting for an hour, already. Hurry up and come.

Natalie: Jeez, man. I know you're excited to see me, but still, wait!

I smiled and walked outside. I spotted him, talking to a gorgeous girl, the player that he was. I ran towards him and jumped into his arms. He looked at me and grinned.

"Damn, you grew, Nat!" I towered over most of the girls in my old school, and now, I was only a few inches shorter than Nick.

"I could say the same about you." He dismissed the girl next to him and walked beside me, towards his car.

"It's so hot over here!" I whined.

"Ah. That must be because of me, Princess." I turned sharply at the unfamiliar voice. A very hot boy was leaning against the hood of Nick's car.

Cocky, much?

"Ryder, get off my baby!" Nick shouted.

"Who the hell is he?" I asked Nick, not even sparing the hot guy a glance.

"Nice to meet you, too, Princess." He smirked, pushing himself of Nick's car.

"Nat, this is Ryder, my best friend and our neighbour. Ryder, this is Natalie, my twin." Nick introduced.

I seated myself in the front passenger seat, ignoring Ryder's protests, while he got in the back.

"Enjoying there, are you?" I smirked at him.

"Trust me, Princess. I always enjoy the back." He wiggled his eyebrows, suggestively.

I groaned at the double meaning and made sure I didn't open my mouth, until I got out of the car.

We were greeted by a big grin on my dad's face, as I hugged him.

"My baby girl has grown into such a beautiful, young lady." Ryder scoffed.

I shot a glare at him, before turning back to my dad. "I missed you so much, dad."

"I missed you, too, Natty dear. What are y'all doing out there? Come on, come inside."

"Sorry, Mr. Adams. Actually, I have to help my mum with the groceries. We'll be here for dinner, though." He said, waving to Nick and my dad, completely ignoring me.

"Dinner?"

"Yes, dear. Isabelle and Marcus's family will be here too, and so will Drew's family."

I squealed! It had been such a long time since I saw my best friend, Isa and her brother, Marcus. Drew, Marcus and Nick had been best friends since kindergarten, and we're very close to me.

Today was going to be a blast... hopefully!
