"You know I actually quite like school uniform. It's cute and I never have to plan my outfits now. Also it makes me feel so British. All I need now is the sexy accent and I would fit in just fine!"

"You think my accent is sexy? You know that's not the only thing that's sexy!" Caden replies with a smirk. Ugh! He's so bighearted. Honestly I sometimes wonder how he fits it through doors.

I just roll my eyes and continue struggling to do my tie. Yeah this is the one thing that I don't like about my uniform. How the hell do I do this?

"Here lemme help you." He says getting up from my bed. "How retarded do you have to be to tangle it this bad!?" His eyebrows scrunch together.

"Not as retarded as you!" I retort.

"You say that but I'm the one helping you." I roll my eyes again even though he's right.

"Look I can't open this." He slides the tie over my head and puts a new one on my shoulders and stands behind me so we are both in front of my full length mirror. "I'm only gonna show you this once so watch carefully." He stands closer so he can wrap the tie around itself. I can hear his slow intakes of breath as he pulls the tie taught.

"There you go. The perfect tie." He looks at the tie proudly. He can be such a kid sometime.

"Why is it so short?"

"'Cause if it's any longer you'll get peanuted and I won't open that tie for you." He chuckles lightly.

"Oh thanks then I guess." I smile at him whilst biting my lip. Instantly his body tenses up and I hear his breath catch in his throat. I stop doing it immediately and his body relaxes.

I was about to apologise when he says "So I heard they're doing Grease at your school. Are you auditioning?"

"Yeah I am actually. To be honest, I'm actually nervous. I mean I've never done any acting before and plus we have to do some singing and I've only sung in front of my friends." I admit. I was only really doing this because Layla wanted me to.

"Well what song do you have to sing for the auditions." He asks looking genuinely curios.

"Hopelessly Devoted To You."
"Well then start singing."
"There is no way I'm singing in front of you." I reply. He'd probably just laugh!
"Oh come on your gonna have to sing in front of an bunch of strangers for the auditions anyway. Why don't you just practice with me."

"Fine but I'm only singing the chorus and if it's bad just don't say anything." I ask and he nods.

As I start singing Hopelessly Devoted To You my cheeks instantly go red. He's right.  How will I ever sing in front of the teachers never mind an audience. When the song comes to an end I quickly cover my face with my hands, hoping my blush will disappear. Then I feel hands wrap around my wrists and my hands are pulled away from my face.

"Your amazing!" He says simply.
"You really think so?" I question. Is he messing with me?
"Yeah your perfect for the role of Sandy. You have an incredible voice. You have ombré hair which basically counts as blonde. And Sandy wears a lot of blue and your favourite colour is blue." He tells me. Oh shit I'm blushing even more.

"Wait how do you know my favourite colour?" I ask. Has he been going through my phone. How does he know my pass code? Oh my god has he read through my texts. That's worst than reading through my diary. I don't have a diary of course. If I had a diary down here everyone in school would call me 'moist'! Whatever that means.
"You told me. Ages ago."
"When you say ages you mean six years?" My heart swells at the idea.
"Yeah I've got the brain of an elephant. I never forget a thing."
"Yeah and the looks of one too." I giggle.
