Chapter 11

--Jades POV--

"Kian?"

I'm shocked but also happy at the same time. "What...what are you doing here? How did you find us?"

"I told him where he was taking us." Wes says coming up behind me. "Why the hell would you do that! Do you know how much danger you but him in!" I growl. "Wait, where's Tate?" Wes asks looking in the hallway.

"He is waiting in the car, just incase I didn't get Jade out and Dampyr would try to get away."

"Wait, wait, wait so not only did you but Kian in danger but you but my brother in danger too! Wow Wes you are on a role today." I say glaring at him. "I'm sorry."

"Kian you need to leave before.." I got cut off by Dampyr coming out of the bathroom. "Ah Kian, what a nice surprise." He smiles. "You son of a bitch." Kian growls pushing past Wes and I.

I quickly go in front of Kian and push him back. "Kian stop, please." He looks down at me with sad eyes. "I don't want you to get hurt." I mumble. "Then come back with me."

"I...I can't. I chose to go with him, I'm sorry but I'm not going." I look down at my feet. "Jade what are you doing?" Kian asks with sadness in his voice. I look back at Dampyr and he nods his head.

He knows exactly what I'm going to do. "I'm sorry Kian but I don't want to go anywhere with you anymore." Every word that comes out of my mouth, breaks a piece of my heart off, one by one. "No, no Jade don't do this." Kian starts to cry.

"I'm sorry but I have to." I say as tears stream down my cheeks. I look back up at Kian. With tears streaming down his face, I finally say the words. "I'm rejecting you." My heart just shattered into a million pieces.

"Jade why are you doing this?" He cries. "To protect you." I say and back away from him. "I....i think you...you should go now." I say in between sniffles. Kian looks at me for awhile with puppy dog eyes, but once he knows I'm not gonna break, he turns and walks out.

After he closes the door, I break. I fall to the floor and bring my knees to my chest and cry.

--Kians POV--

I can't believe she rejected me. 'To protect you.' Her words ring in my ears. I know it was hard for her to do that because after I closed the door. I heard her break down.

It took every ounce in me to not go back in the room, rip Dampyr's head off, and take the love of my life back with me.

But I love her so much that I did what she said and left. On the drive home, Tate drove as I sat in the passenger seat crying until I passed out.

When I woke up, I was in my bed. I look at the clock to see its 9:00pm. I have been asleep for three hours only. It felt like forever.

"Kian? Are you up?" I hear Harry through my door. "Yeah." I say as he enters the room. "I heard what happened. I'm so sorry Kian."

"I don't want your sympathy." I grunt. "She did it to protect you Kian. She is looking out for you, I'm sorry that it hurts but I'm also grateful. If she wouldn't of stopped you then who knows what could of happened to you."

"Thanks for your help, you can leave now." I snap. "She'll be back Kian. She gave us her word that she would be back, so don't give up. Don't give up on her." He says as he is about to leave the room.

"I haven't given up on her. She is my one an only and she gave up on me." I say. He turns toward me with his hand on the door handle. "Your wrong Kian." He looks me in the eyes. "She hasn't." He says then leaves.

--Wes's POV--

"Jade? Jade open the door." I say as I knock on the bathroom for the tenth time in a minute. I hear shuffling until Jade opens up the door. Her hair looks like a birds nest, her mascara is smeared, and she has bags under her eyes.

"Jade I'm sorry. It's all my fault. If I wouldn't of told Kian where we were this wouldn't of happened."

"No it's not. This would of happened either way. Better sooner than later. Kian just needs to live his life now, without me." I pull her I to me when she starts to cry again.

"I'm gonna give you guys a little more time to get ready since we had some...uninvited guests." Dampyr says looking at me. "We'll meet you in the lobby in five." I tell him.

He huffs then leaves the room. "Come on we got to get you ready." I tell her pulling her back into the bathroom. "I sit her down on the toilet and grab her brush that was sitting on the counter.

I brush her hair then leave her to do what girls normally do when they get ready. Within two minutes she walks out looking how she has before Kians visit.

"Are you ready?" I ask putting my hand on her back to try an comfort her. She looks up at me and tries her best to put on a smile. "Yeah, let's go." We walk down the hall and get on the elevator. Nobody says another word until we get to Dampyr.

--Jades POV--

"Are you guys ready?" He asks. We nod and he takes up to the middle of the casino next to a poker table. "He is right over there." Dampyr says pointing toward a guy standing next to an exit with his back turned away from us. "Jade you go over there and tell him Oklahoma." I look at him. "What?" He shrugs. "Really? You want me to tell him Oklahoma?"

"It's the key word. You don't want to just go over there and be like, 'I got the stuff.' No this don't a movie." He rolls his eyes. "Then your gonna take him out back. Wes your gonna go out back and wait for Jade and him to get there, but don't attack right away wait to see what he does." Wes nods and heads out back. "If anything goes wrong, you got me and Wes. It should be enough."

I nod and head over to him. I tap him on the shoulder and when he turns around I'm as shocked as ever. "Jade?" He says in complete shock.

"Cody?"
