A Fresh Start

Introduction

October 29

"Byee granny Love you! Have a good day at work." I said as I got out of the car grabbing my things.

"Bye Leilani, I love you more! I'll be home at 4:30 there's food in the microwave. " She said looking at me then the front of my house.

"Okay granny see you later " I said kissing her on the cheek then closing the car door.

I can't believe I have to move back to New Jersey tomorrow I thought as I walked to the front door. I went in the house looking to find my mom. I looked in the kitchen, living room, dining room, her bedroom, laundry room, Even knocked on the bathroom door and didn't see anybody. It doesn't surprise me because she's never here she is in the army but when she comes home she spends a lot of time with her new boyfriend James.I called my mom while walking to my room to see where she was but got no answer.

"Ughhh" I yelled throwing my phone on my bed.

"This is my last night here and I'm alone." I said out loud.

I grabbed my Green towel and went to the bathroom to shower. As I got in and the hot water hit my skin it was heaven I felt as if I was going to melt. I grabbed my wash cloth and soap scrubbing every part of my body as I got out I wrapped myself in my towel feeling so clean. I threw on some sleep clothes then I went to the kitchen to see what granny left me. I ate some Chicken Alfredo then went back my I'm my now almost empty room the only thing in it was a night stand bed and lamp. All my stuff was gone to New Jersey I facetimed my brother to ask what time we were leaving. 4 rings later my brother finally answered.

"Hey baby sis wassup" Jay said. "

"What time will you be here to pick you up in the morning?"I answered. Doing a belly flop on my bed.

"I told you 11 in the morning. Chantel going to pick you up. " He said.

"Okay." I said rolling my eyes. It's been a while since I seen her but he knows me and that girl don't get along.

I don't have any Social media other than Facebook which is full of family because I don't have any friends.Then a couple minutes later I was slumped out.

September 2nd

Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep

I woke up to the sound of the alarm clock on my phone. I turned it off checked my phone no messages. After turned my apple playlist on and went to the bathroom to take a hot shower and wash my hair. After getting out I but on undergarments and lotioned up. I heard chattering down stairs so I put on black biker shorts and a black graphic cropped tee that I got out my storage bin.  I walked down stairs towards the noise and seen Chantelle.

I went down stairs and saw my grandma, mom, and Chantelle talking. "Good morning Granny! Hey mom! Chantelle" I said with a head nod and she nodded back.

"Good morning baby" she said with a small
smile. "Hey beautiful" my mom smiled. I looked at Chantelle and notice her little bulging belly then my mom and grandma. "You Pregnant?" I said rudely mugging her. "Yes!" She said smiling.

"So you'll need to learn to get along Lani let that shit go! It's Old!" Said my mom. I scolded.

She looked at me desperately. She's the reason I left New Jersey in the first place.

"You know I will never let it go." I replied.

"Are you ready to go?" I asked Chantelle and She nodded.

"Byee grams and byee mom I love you guys I'll see y'all soon." I kissed them both on the cheek and they hugged me tightly while they began to drop tears. "We love you more!" They both said.

A couple of minutes later we left and got on the road. "Okay listen up... you don't have to like me or anything but I'm not gonna kiss your ass... I know this isn't what you want but it's for the better... living with your brother isn't easy... I know you never liked me and im not trynna be your mom or big sister... but getting along with me is just going to be the easiest thing to do, for the baby... even thou you dislike me and I don't know why I still love you." She said looking at me with a serious expression on her face.

"Girlllll" I said rolling my eyes. Then It went back quiet.

I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Leilani Cristiana Davis. I'm 16 turning 17 on January 1st or New Years Day. I don't go to a high school I'm home schooled. I've been home schooled since kindergarten. I'm finally going to a real school in New Jersey and I'm very nervous but I'll pull threw. When you first meet me I'm kinda quiet but when I warm up to you I'm hella fun. I now live with my only brother Jay and his brother Sean he's like my best friend, I've known him my whole life. Him and Jay Shares a Mom. Our dad was like a father to Sean. Also Chantelle who is Jay's girlfriend/ now babymom.

My mom is in the army and my dad is in Prison, but that's how me and Jay are siblings cause my dad. We both use to live with him in New Jersey until we were almost 10 and now he's 19. I met Sean because he use to come over my dads house to play when his grandmama dropped him off.

"You hungry cause I am about stop at Wendy's for food?" Shay asked politely.

"Yeah, I was wondering when we was gone get something to eat." I said.

She parked and we got out then walked in. Surprisingly there wasn't a line. "Can I get a medium strawberry lemonade, a baconador some medium loaded fries, 6 piece nuggets and a medium vanilla frosty." I said and I pulled out my credit card and paid for my food.

" I'll have a 4 for 4 with nuggets, a jr bacon, fries, and a sprite and raspberry lemonade." She pulled out cash and paid for hers. We waited for our food and then left out and headed back to the road the house was only 3 hours away from where I lived and we already drove 1 hour and 40 minuets.

I was on my phone the whole time with my beats on my head. A couple hours later we pulled up at this big house. I got out and walked straight through the door and Jay and Sean we're playing the game. Soon as Sean seen me he ran over to hug then a couple seconds later Jay they damn near squeezing the life out of me. We haven't seen each other since I was like 12.

"I MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!" I said.

"We are going to make sure we don't leave you no more." Sean said 

"We love you Lani" the both said. We hugged for a couple seconds then they showed me around.

They had a 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a pool in the back yard.

They finally showed my room which was next to the soon to be nursery. It was kinda big with a big walk in closet. The theme was a pink nude color and some white fur. It's was s'cute. When I got to my room I looked around put up my clothes then took a nap.
