KAI'S POV~

I walk into the school in my normal tight black jeans and Pierce The Veil shirt. With my favourite Black beanie. Its a rainy October. My favourite month. No not because its Halloween. Its because its cold and I don't get made fun of for wearing a jacket all the time.
Of course everyone is staring at me. Not Maddi tho. maddi was the most beautiful girl ever. She always was even when we were super little. I love her.. But of course the cute ones come in a package with a dick as a boyfriend. Chase. I hate Chase. He made her change. She can't even be bisexual anymore. He took over. Also he abuses her. So does her dad. So she is terrified. She doesn't know I know.. But I do. "FAG!" some kid screamed at me. I just walked to my locker.
I heard someone behind me. It was Alex and Max. "Hey Dorkmuffin!" Max says as he ruffles my hair. "Hi max." I say back. "Hey you still having trouble with Mad?" Alexa asks. "Yea. But I'm okay with it," I say putting my backpack into my locker. "How are you doing about the death?" I ask remembering Delilah dyeing one day. "Oh we're okay, back to our normal well kinda normal lives." Max said. Chase walked with Maddi by his side she had a bruise in her cheek. "Stop please. Stop Chase.." I heard her slightly scream. I wanted him dead. I wanted to make him dead..

MADDI'S POV

"Stop please. Stop chase.." I slightly scream in pain from the punch he had given me earlier from being attracted to a girl named Alex. It was mostly because she was emo. And a girl. He pushed me into the handicap bathroom. We have those because they are mostly teacher bathrooms unless a child or student needs to use these. He locks the door. "Baby stop crying." He pretends to care. I don't stop. "I said stop!" I feel his hand plummet down onto my face and I feel blood drip out of my mouth. "This is hot." He says biting his lip. "Let's make the most out of it." He says. I can't respond because I an trying not to throw up. You know that rule where if you hit someone below the age of 17 and it leaves a mark its child abuse. Well not only he breaking that law.. He violates me after. I have no controll somtimes I'm even pass out. Well this time I was fully awake. I felt it all. After I ran out of there as fast as I could. I ran into some boy. His hair dropped down in front of his face. His braces were blue. He looked beautiful. I knew who it was. "Kai?" I ask. "Hi Mad." He says picking up his books. "What happened?" He asked. "Oh nothing I just ran into the side of my door." I said lying. He looked concerned. "Are you sure?" He asked. He moved his hair out of his face to reveal his beautiful green eyes. I blushed like an idiot. "You OK?" He asks. "I'm okay." We hug and say goodbye. Then my beat friend Jessica comes up and asks me about him. "I think I like him." I say concerned. "What's with the face?" Jessica asks. "Oh its just, Chase will kill me," I say looking down. "You don't have to tell him, plus why can't you just break it off with him?" Jessica asks. "Well last time he broke my hand, remember." I awnser back. "Oh right. I'm sorry boo." She says comforting me. "Just tell someone!" She says about to walk into the principals office. "No!" I pull her back into my grasp. "Its not that easy." The bell shatters my ear drums. I walk into science which I had with Kai. Of course Kai sat by himself. No one sat next to me either. "You, emo boy go sit next to her," she points to me with her ruler. "Fine." He mumbles under his breath. 'Don't you pull attitude with me." She says. "Whatever." He pulls Hus hoodie over his beautiful green eyes. And his dimples. "Okay class we are doing a project, you must group with the people I give you." She points to people while saying their name. "Kai, your with Maddiline." She says. "Okay whatever." He says under his breath.
