Meanwhile...
"I have finished the task you sent me," said a deep voice from the shadows of the room."Good..." replied Yami with a cunning smile, "with your abilities, we can take them down one by one, and turn them against one another while doing so."
"Yes my lord," the shadows whispered back.
-------------------------------------------------I watched as people I didn't know, stood there weeping. The coffin was brought down, landing with clouds of dust surrounding it. The rest of my agency, had red puffy eyes from all the crying, but the amount they cried was not even comparable to the Rex. He would cry anywhere, all by himself for hours, in the toilet, the meeting room, and other places I don't really want to mention... I also felt tears bursting out, gods seemed to mourn with us, as the the sky was dark and stormy. The gods continued to cry in agony as people began to leave, soon, we were the only ones left crying in the rain. The flowers dropped onto the grave, dew drops rolled down the pale blue petals. Blue was meant to be the colour of sadness, I guess everything matched our feelings. Even the gods and flowers.
-------------------------------------------------The next few days where gloomy, everyone worked silently, no one wanted to talk. I walked out of the agency, my head down in thought, why did Rex constantly accuse me of murdering Tyrant? As I turned into a dark alley for a shortcut home, a shadow darted behind a pole. I stopped, then slowly the figure revealed himself. "Rex!" I cried in surprise. He didn't say anything and began to come forward, as soon as he was in range, he drew a dagger from the sheath on his belt and lunged forward. I was taken by surprise and didn't dodge in time. Blood immediately started gushing out, all I saw was the glowing colour of my blood and a shadow that wasn't Rex before I was shrouded by darkness.
------------------------------------------------
I woke up to the familiar ceiling of the empty room with a bed. I looked around nostalgically, remembering the first time I was here, but then it came drifting back, how Rex had attacked me and someone had saved me. The door creaked open, the noise interrupting my thoughts. "Are you okay?" Asked Alice sympathetically, I nodded, "If Ren hadn't saved you, then you wouldn't be here," Realization stuck me like a jagged rock, the shadow was actually Ren. I ran out of the room, determined to thank him, after all, this was the second time he had saved me. I finally found him sitting restlessly on a chair eyes closed with his legs rested on the wooden table. "Um, thanks for saving me," I said softly."No problem," he replied not even opening his eyes the slightest. I smiled as I left the room quietly, I didn't want to disturb him. Then I remembered something, I'd still hadn't dealt with Rex...
