Tales of a Not-So-Popular-Life

           Life is crummy. Even if you ARE popular. Ok, yeah, I know.. you can't have what you want ALL the time.. But, seriously! My twin sister, Alexis, is SUPER popular. Literally, I'm NOT joking. She's got everybody worshiping her up and down the hallways. Even all the boys wanna go out with her. Nobody's asked me out except Jarvis. But, Jarvis is a totally different thing.. I wouldn't even call him boyfriend material.. and that's coming from ME! :(

I'm pretty sure Alexis is EMBARRASSED to have me as a twin sister :( Anyways.. Yeah, I got carried away .. but, my life can't get any worse right?

Chapter 1-

  AHHHHH! ):( I COULD ALMOST PUNCH ALEXIS!!!

Ok, here's what happened. It all started in first period. "PEEEEARLL!!!" Alexis shouted as she walked into the room. "Yes, dear sister?" I said rolling my eyes. "MY SEAT! I'm supposed to sit by Marcus!" She said fluttering her eyes at Marcus. Marcus is my friend/crush. And.. ALEXIS'S CRUSH :(! Poor Marcus just sat there and put a fake smile on his face and waved to Alexis. Alexis almost FAINTED! Her face looked like she just met Taylor Swift. Marcus looked around nervously and then noticed me in the chair next to him. "Uh, Pearl?" "Yeah?" I said. "Umm, is your sis OKAY!?" "Uh, umm, I don't know.." "Umm.. okay.." He paused. "Hey, wanna do the project together?" "Oh yeah, totally!" I almost SCREAMED :D!!

Chapter 2-

I was walking down the hallway when I remembered that Valentine's Day is NEXT week! I totally forgot. I was about to turn the corner, I saw a huge banner. "The Dancing Hearts Dance!" "That's a stupid name.." I mumble. "I know right!" A voice said from behind me. I turned around slowly. "You talking to me?" I asked. OMG! It was Marcus!!! "Hey," He paused. "And yeeaah.. I was talking to you.." He said slowly. "Should I leave.. did I scare ya?" "Oh, not at all! I was kinda.. ya know.. embarrassed you heard me say that about the dance." "Don't be!" He said. "It is stupid!" He laughed. And I laughed with him.

Chapter 3-

Uggggggggh, why does Alexis have to be such a drama queen and a brat at the SAME time! Ok, you're probably wondering what she did.. ok, here's the story.

So you know when I and Marcus were talking and laughing about the Valentine's Dance? Well when the bell rang, Alexis came running in between us and asked him to the dance right in front of my face!! But guess what?!? Marus just stared at her blankly for a bit then he started mumbling softly. Alexis practically screamed, "IS THAT A YES OR A NOOOO!?!" She flashed me a glare then went back to gazing into Marcus's eyes. 

"Um.. I was gonna.. Ya know.. Ask somebody else.." He murmured louder. "Umm.. WHO????" She screamed. "Umm.. we better get to class.." I said. Alexis marched over to me and whispered under her her breath, "You will pay Pearllll!" Marcus smiled at me in the hallway. I bet he was thankful that I saved him from getting ripped apart. But the best thing is.. I might be that girl that he is gonna ask to the dance!! Well.. hopefully Alexis doesn't ruin my chance..

 Chapter 4

Ok so I know this may sound weird but this shy um.. I guess kinda cute.. guy named Max has been acting well.. off around me. (I don't even KNOW what he acts like..) Could it be possible.. That he likes me?... How do I know? Well.. I DON'T know.. I THINK. Why? Well, they were love letters in my locker.. I think one was from Marcus and the other one from Max. Plus one of them was signed "MM" aka Max Mills!

I don't even KNOW Max! Literally, all I know about him is that his name is Max Mills. That's it! I was just staring at the letters when I heard Alexis's high heels angrily stomping against the carpet. I rolled my eyes at looked down the hallway. I saw Alexis glaring at me with clenched fists. "What is it now!?" I said rolling my eyes at her. "PEARLLL! JUST STOP." My mouth hung wide open. I just stared as she stomped away. I'm surprised she didn't rip me apart or anything! I relised she had something in her hands.. I looked down at my hands. OMG. Where did my "Love Letters" go? Well, TBH (To be honest) I didn't read them.. Only the signature. Yep. That's how I do it.. I'm a nerd.. While I was searching for the notes, something tapped me on the shoulder. "ALEXIS! JUST GO AWAYY!" I screamed holding back the tears. "Pearl," I heard a soft familiar voice.  I slowly turned around to see it was Marcus.. I let tears stream down my face humiliated. "S-Sorry Marcus.." I could feel my face turning bright red. I quickly hid my face in my hands. I didn't want him to see me like this.  "Please leave.. Sorry.. Again." I sobbed.  I ran into the bathroom and hid in a stall sobbing. 

Chapter 5- 

Did I ever mention my best friends Emmie and Molly? Welp. They are my best friends. Apparently, Emmie saw me sprint to the bathroom with tears streaming down my face. She quickly texted Molly too, "Get her butt over here" but, of course, she didn't even say anything about where she was. But Molly found her! They literally MEMORIZED each other's schedules. So they know where each other are in the building at all times!
