It had been a few months since Mika and Yuu had run away together. A few months since they had seen the vampires or the Moon Demon Company. It was just them; in a new home, secluded, far away from the war, where nobody could find them. And they were happy.
They were lucky enough to find some food and water in abandoned towns, and though the beds weren't in the best state, it was a place to sleep.
Sure it was tough, but in the end, they didn't care. They had each other and that's all that mattered to them.
It was another normal - for them - early morning, as Mika approched their new, temporary home with a couple of cans of food that he had found in a near by house. Once he walked through the, doorless, entrance of their home he sat the food down on the kitchen table, trying to not to make too much noise to wake Yuu. Mika stared at the food and sighed, beginning to get lost in thought.
A sudden raidiating pain through his throat snapped him out of his daze. He clentched at his throat moaning in pain. It was like a burning iron rod being forced down his throat, the dry sensation adding more fuel to the fire.
He recognised this feeling, the feeling he fought for four years was now back, taunting him. His hold got tighter on his throat as if it would numb the pain.
"Ngnn!" He stumbled back, hitting the vanity with a loud thud, knocking over a few glasses. He covered his mouth in order to stop any noises of pain from coming out.

What was that?
'Ba-dum'
There it is again.
'Ba-dum'
Whatever it was...
'Ba-dum'
it somehow made the pain worse.

It drove him crazy

Its getting louder. Make it stop-!
"Mika?"
Mikas head shot up at the sound of his name; only to find Yuu standing in the direction it came from.
"Yuu-chan. I-" wait... the noise stopped. "I'm sorry did i wake you?"
"No. Though what was that noise?" He asked, rubbing out the last bit of sleep from his eye.
'Noise'? Could he hear it to?
"What noise?" Mika asked, hoping that it wasn't just him.
"That loud 'bang', what did you trip over or something?" Yuu snikered, as he made his towards the table. "Oh, you found more food"
"Yeah, i-" 'Ba-dum' "ngh!" There it was again. It happened as soon as Yuu walked past.
"Hey, you ok?" Yuu asked, worried. Mika forced a smile before responding.
"Of course, Yuu-chan"
"You sure? You look a little pale?" Yuu asked, stepping a closer to him.
'Ba-dum' 'Ba-dum' 'Ba-dum' 'Ba-dum' 'Ba-dum'
'Not again' Mikas thoughts begged, as the pain creeped back into his body.
"Mika?" Yuu tried to get his attention back, but it was hard to hear him over the pounding noise in his head.
