I could smell the salty air before I opened my eyes. I sat up and looked around. I knew I was dreaming. I wondered where my mind had taken me this time. I stood up and looked around. The tide was coming up to just below where my feet were. I closed my eyes and breathed in more of the night air. Dreams were always better. You could do whatever you wanted with no consequences what so ever. I listened to the waves crashing on the shore for a little longer. Finally, I'd decided to walk around. I walked through the thick trees and started wishing I'd had a sword. One instantly appeared in my hand. I smiled at it and then kept walking. The air was heavy and fresh. I hadn't gotten far when I stopped. I'd thought it would be more entertaining to start from the center of wherever I was and make my way out. I closed my eyes and tried to picture myself in the middle of a lush green forest. There was the sound of wind rushing past my ears and I opened my eyes. I was standing in front of a big tree. There was a small clearing where rain was falling lightly to the ground. The covering the trees provided everywhere else was too thick for water to properly get through. I sat down and leaned against the tree, staring at the beautiful and peaceful sight before me. There was the snap of a twig behind me.
I sighed, "It's peaceful, isn't it."
I saw movement out of the corner of my eye.
"It is." A British voice spoke.
The owner of the voice came to sit beside me. I glanced at them. The moon outlined their face.
"I don't recognize you. What's your name?" He questioned while looking where I was.
"Alice" I replied, "What's your name?"
"Pan. Peter Pan." He replied.
I held my hand out to him and he shook it, "Pleasure to meet you Peter Pan."
