Jace's POV.

Wow. I actually have a friend. scratch that a best friend. And she likes me for who I am. I wish my dad was like that. He never talked to me until this morning saying he found a woman to steel from. yeah, you heard right. Steel. My dad is like a con artist. He uses women for there money. But I need to do something about this. I never take or steel anything. My dad hates that because he says that gay people are week. They can't do anything bad in life. Well people treat me like a piece of shit at a farm house. You just pick them up and through them in the trash. I dont want my dad to hurt Lana. She is to sweet, kind, and needs someone to protect her. Not like me.

I got an idea.

But I need to find out more information about what she likes first of all.

I was snapped out of my thought when we reached a black door with nothing but Andy Beirsack, and Mikey Way on the front of it.

"Hi, i'm Kenzie. Lana's best friend." she said scanning my body. EW. Not that she was nasty or anything but I find it weird that a girl is checking out a gay guy. It's like a girl checking out a girl.

"Hi, btw i'm gay sweetheart." I said trying to get the message out to her.
"That's fine, well I'm staying up here if you need anything."

"Will do commander." Lana saluted. I just laughed.


"Kids, dinners ready!" Lana's yelled.

"Coming!" she yelled back. I looked at Lana and saw that she always had purple on. Right now she has purple brackets, purple necklace, and purple socks.

" Is your favorite color purple by any chance?"
She looked at me confused.
"Umm .... yeah, it is. How did you know that?"
" You wear a lot of purple."

"Ohh ok." she said as we reached the kitchen.
There was so much food you could feed the Army.


Nobody talked while we ate. I Noticed that Lana hasn't touched a piece of meat at her plate.

She's vegan and nobody cares or notices.wow. I slipped my veggies on to her plate and took her meat.

She looked up and she had a huge smile on her face that said" Wow. someone noticed me."

"Alright, time to go jay." my dad said after we got done eating then went to the living room.
