"Kanda! You can't keep doing this every time we have an argument! Please stop shutting me out," Allen cried. They had gotten into another argument over Alma. Allen knew that Kanda loved Alma at one point in his life, and how abusive that had been for him, but he didn't expect Kanda to shut him out when Alma started snooping around again. It was devastating to Allen.

"Moyashi," Kanda sneered," Just because you're my boyfriend doesn't mean you can control my life. Alma is just a friend; nothing more. Now drop it."

"I'm just worried about it! Why didn't you even tell me you were seeing him again?" Allen exclaimed.

"Because it's none of your business."

"It is my business because it involves you!! Don't you see how this is affecting me? Affecting us?"

"No," Kanda retorted and walked out of the small flat.

Allen slid down onto the floor in front of the door. Why is Kanda always so defensive about Alma? 'I love him, but I don't understand why. Does he even love me?' Allen pondered.

At that moment the phone rang. Who called someone at two o'clock in the morning?

To miserable to move, Allen sat on the floor with his head on his knees. He didn't feel like doing anything or talking anymore. He just felt so numb inside.

"Allen, pick up the phone. It's Tyki. I need to talk to you," came the voice from the answering machine. Allen didn't even look up.

A few moments later, several knocks rapt on the door beside him. Allen still didn't move from his spot.

Cursing and shuffling from the other side of the door grew soft after a moment. A click sounded from the door's lock. The door opened to reveal Tyki, standing in the doorway with a bouquet of roses in his hand.

"Allen, what are you doing on the floor?" startled Tyki stood gaping. He didn't realize how broken Allen would be when he found out that Alma and Kanda were getting back together.

"I'm so sorry, shounen. I should have known that bastard would do something like this," Tyki crouched next to Allen.

Allen looked up confused, "What are you talking about? We always fight."

Tyki was stunned, "You mean you don't know?"

"Know what Tyki? What did Kanda do? Please tell me," Allen cried. If it was what he was thinking, then his heart would break.

"Allen, Kanda is cheating on you," Tyki allayed.

"Oh. Oh my god. This isn't happening to me," Allen bawled. He put his hands on the sides of his head and screamed.

Tyki put the bouquet down on the table beside the door and pulled Allen into his arms.

"It'll be okay, shounen. Your family is here for you. We all love you Allen," Tyki rocked Allen in his arms.

After thirty minutes, Allen still hadn't calmed down when the door opened to reveal Kanda. From the smell of him, he was drunk.

"What the hell is going on!?" snarled Kanda.

"Love, Kanda. I am giving Allen the love you refused him," Tyki retorted.

"I think you can go fuck yourself you fucking whore," Kanda seethed.

"Oh piss off, Kanda," Tyki drawled, "It's time for us to leave anyway. If you ever come near Allen again, I will fucking kill you."

"I'd like to see you try, Noah scum."

"Fuck you, Kanda," came Allen's strained voice, "Fuck you and your little whore."

"Moyashi," threatened Kanda.

"No. I am done, we are over. I'm going home."

"You'll regret this. You'll be back."

"Not this time."

Allen and Tyki left the apartment. Kanda stood in the middle of the room completely stunned. He looked over and saw the bouquet on the table. Slowly, he reached over and pulled the bouquet into his arms and cried.

What had he done?
