Bri

(17) (Mixed) (Curly Hair)

I wake up as if it's a normal Saturday morning, but I feel as if something is different, or i'm forgetting something. I get out of bed and shrug that feeling off and continue to go to the kitchen and make some pancakes; "Mom" "Dad" "Are any of you here?". I get no reply then I look to see a note on the counter which says " Goodmorning, Bri. I see as if this note caught your eye and you haven't heard from us yet today; we got some bad news.. You're moving down , not that far to your Grandma's . No it's not you but we think it's for the best for your father and I to sort things out . A new school and a new adventure for you, pack your things because you are leaving this afternoon. Love, Momma." I can't believe this . Why would my parents do this ? I'm a good kid and my behavior is nice. I guess all I can do is pack and be on my way. It's gonna be all fine I think to myself ,, my Grandma is caring but I just can't get over the fact that they would do this to me ...

It's the afternoon and my parents are back home, I'm fully packed and ready to be on my way. I haven't spoke to my parents until just now when they said "We love you Bri and continue to be our good little Princess."

I drove my BMW to my Grandmas which was about an hour and a half away. I pulled up and saw my Grandma waiting for me, before I get out the car I think "You got this, new experiences, new friends & a new life." I go to my Grandma as she says "Hey baby, you grown so much in this past couple of months!" I smiled as I kissed her cheek and found my room that I would stay in ; It's pretty nice and big but I miss my other room, I reminisce on my old room but think "I need to get some fresh air and go around the city and find new friends to hang with." I told my Grandma where I was going but I knew she wasn't going to stop me, I drove around until I saw a parking spot up in the city and just started walking around until A group of boys stopped me..
