The athletes that bust their butts on the field and then come home and still have time to do their nails are the ones that I'm talking about. Soccer girls never quit, and just as much an athlete as boys are. We are unstoppable, and here's my little...
To a soccer girl, cleats are a big deal. Like, huge. Or they are for most people. There are three kinds of cleat-loving girls.
KIND 1:
The girls who agree with the above statement! They think cleats are something that they should cherish.
You go to the store and carefully consider your options. Blue, black, pink... Nike, Adidas, Umbro. Then you find the perfect pair! You find your size and then check the price. Usually their pricey, but it's worth it. You've either saved up your money for these, or are walking across the store to persuade your parents to buy them for you. You love your cleats!

KIND 2:
The girls who couldn't care less... like, literally, they don't care at all. Cleats are things they wear on their feet to get dirty and kick a ball with. Who cares?
You're kind of mad when you get those blisters on your toes that are shouting "time to get new cleats!" You go to the store for some cleat-shopping, but consider it an inconvenience. You go and find a pair that fits and looks decent enough, and is in your low budget. You don't think much about your cleats.

KIND 3:
The kind of girl whose parents think it's better to buy whatever cleats are the cheapest. You usually end up with the plain black and white/pink nikes. The ones that are on the clearance rack for $20.
You go cleat shopping and you gaze longingly at the Copas, serious yet simple, and the Under Armours, bursting with vibrant colors. But your mom drags you over to the plain nikes. She gives you the choice between two, both of which on the clearance rack. Not that there's anything wrong with these... just maybe you'd like something better. Your parents either can't afford it or think why bother? when it comes to expensive cleats. You could always save up your own money... but maybe you don't have any way to do that. Or the time... or you're lazy... or you figure if you're saving money it could be used differently. Anyway, your cleats look pretty much the same every time thanks to the clearance rack.
