Krystal's Side Stories

Chapter 3

Wile I waited for my mother to finish cooking dinner I decided to draw. Drawing is one of the many things I do to keep my self at bay. It keeps me concentrated and keeps me from getting bored. When I was younger I absolutely hated drawing and I can't remember why. But as I grew older I realized that it's a great way to keep me calm. While I drew I listened to music to keep myself focused. Music is like my best friend. I listen to it when I do just about anything. I listen to alternative rock the most. I honestly don't know why cause my parents never turned that kind of music on but vylad sometimes would. I guess that's why.

Right when I finished my drawing I was told to come down stairs. To my surprise both Laurence and Cadenza were already there. Cadenza is a great friend of mine. I'm not as close to her as I am to Jay. When it comes to best friends both him and vylad take the cake.

"Cadenza oh my gosh how are you!" I said as I ran to her and engulfed her in a hug.

"Oh absolutely wonderful! And you?" She replied.

"Pretty great thanks. Oh and I am so sorry that I didn't find you earlier at school I guess I was just too rapped up in my music." I said

Like I said I listen to a lot of music.

"Hey Kris I remembered I wasn't there for yours and Vylad's birthday and I felt pretty bad about it so I made some things for you guys as an I'm sorry gift." Cadenza said as she handed me some bags.

"Oh you didn't need to do that" I replied

"Of course I do you and vylad are my friends and I felt like I had to do something." She said

"Laurence why didn't you stop her from doing this?" I asked

"I tried but she never listens to me." He replied.

"Krissy sweetheart go get your brother so that you two can open up these gifts in the living room." My mother said.

So I did exactly as my mother said.

When we were both in the living room everyone gathered around us to watch us open the gifts

"Just so you know guys I had to help her out a little bit with these cause she was so scared that you guys would hate it." Garroth added before we started

Vylad opened his first since he was the older twin. He got a new green flannel shirt and a green scarf to go with it.

"This is really nice! Thank you so much cadenza." Vylad said as he excitedly put the scarf on. He went and gave a short hug to cadenza.

I began to open mine. She spoiled me a little and gave me a legend of Zelda  glass pain dress, and a black cardigan.

"Oh my Irene are you serious Cadenza?! This is absolutely awesome thank you so much I needed a new dress. This is just amazing because your amazing cadenza. Ugh I can't thank you enough." I said as I came at her with a tight hug

"Well I'm glad that you like them because it took me along time to make it all. Now go and try them on. I want to see if they fit you guys." She said

I went upstairs to my room and put the whole outfit on. It fit perfectly. I loved it so much words could not begin to describe how much I loved it. The whole look came together when I added the black and purple knee high converse.

When both Vylad and I came down the stairs my mother looked so happy that she couldn't contain herself.

"Oh my goodness my babies look so good!" She even took pictures.

"Wow you guys look so good I think that I did a really good job for the both of you." Cadenza said

"Thanks again cadenza. I really love it." Vylad said

"Eh. It's no big deal."she said

"Yeah right." I added

When I got to the kitchen to help my mom finish cooking i see both Garroth and Laurence sitting at the table playing a card game.

"Wow Krystal I gotta say. You look really good." Laurence said.

"U-um thanks. I-i appreciate it." I said. I could feel the heat rising a little in my face.

"Remember Laurence this is my little sister your speaking to here." Garroth added.

"I know but I gotta compliment her when she looks that cute." He said

"You know that I'm right here right?" I said

"Yeah I know you were supposed to hear that."

More heat began to rise in my face.

"Alright kids it's time to eat." My mom said.

~time skip to after dinner~

That night was pretty great it was a little awkward but I got over it. Tomorrow is the weekend and I'm thinking I'll probably go to the park with Jay and my brothers and just draw and maybe even write a little. Who knows. We'll see.

That is all for today. I hope you all enjoyed it. I was thinking about what to write for this chapter almost all day and well this happened. I would really like it if you guys could give me some feedback on my writing. That way I know how good/bad I really am at it, and I just really want to know what you guys honestly think.
