The Movie Night

Karkat hoped Dave wouldn't mind watching the Titanic again. Now that they we're Matesprites Dave had a tendency to mock the nubby horned troll even more for his movie tastes. Around mid movie though Karkat was sucked into the world of Jack and Rose not caring about Dave for a few brief moments. Dave noticed the short trolls infatuation with the cheesy rom-com. He didn't get his matesprite or boyfriend or whatever they were. Karkat felt an arm wrap around his shoulders the heavy pressure making quite the contrast to the lightweight air that was placed where Daves arm now lay. Karkat momentarily forgot about the movie and looked up at his matesprite. Dave feeling Karkats sudden movement looked down at his signifagant other. When Dave saw the eyes of his short Karkles looking up at him he smiled and leaned in to kiss his troll. Karkat leaned into Daves kiss and their lips colided. Karkat smiled (which doesn't happen often) his lips pulling up happy to have his matesprite with him. Dave smiled as well for similar reasons. Even though the two could be no more different they were happily content with spending their lives with one another. The two turned their attention back to the movie finishing the last hour in loving silence. 60 minutes later when the movie was over Karkat was in tears even though he had seen the movie fourteen times before. Dave noting his  little boyfriends obsession with the movie and how he thought "Rose had enough room for Jack" kissed Karkats forehead mumbling an 'I love you' into the short trolls ear. Karkat stopping his rant on how "Rose was a bitch" and looking up at his Dave and mumbling an 'I love you too'. The taller of the two wrapped his arms around the short troll and started running his hands through Karkats hair earning a content (and adorable)  purr from his sleepy boyfriend. The two then closed their eyes and drifted off into dreamland. The last thing Dave thought of before he fell asleep was how his nubby little troll will rant on about how 'Unjust Rose was to Jack' tomorrow morning.
